Kicking off the month with a first A&E experience, the prior/Oleo base formulation, and what I found to be a more true scent match to VR's SB than VY's. Rex Supply Co. Ambassador / Personna Platinum / Grizzly Bay Infinity's Edge / A&E Revolution (previous base) Ran razor 2.5 WTG, 2.5 ATG and tried 3.5 cleanup, which proved a bit much, thinking 3's the upper end with the blade combo for me.
It was a Japanese Razor day today. Very nice 2 pass shave, with minor touch up, around the chin, left me BBS. I do like most Japanese razors. They usually use great steel in their blades. Razor- Japanese "Old Cherry". Silver Steel blade. 1/2 Hollow Brush- RazoRock 400, WD High Mountain Badger. Soap- Arko/Sandalwood Scented Aftershave- Shulton Old Spice. Ships Decanter, Flying Cloud.
