Beautiful backdrop Douglas and the selection of wet shaving gear this morning is excellent as well. Hope the razor is up to your liking. I know I really enjoy this razor and I believe Clint @clint64 does so as well.

 

Saturday SOTD

I debated, but ended up pulling out the Gem Jr Parade Handle razor with matching Gem leather travel case. I don't know how common or uncommon this case is - I've never seen others posted like it and couldn't find anything online regarding it when I purchased it here in PA last year. (If anyone has any info regarding the case, let me know). Also, the fact that a PA guardsman kept his ID card inside just makes it that much more special to me being a USAF veteran. I paired the razor with my USAF JR #28 fan badger brush.

As it was shave #7 with the Gem SS blade, it wasn't quite as smooth shaving, not that a Gem Jr is the smoothest of the Gems - but it wasn't uncomfortable in any way. Little feedback from the alum and Clubman and I am smooth and refreshed for the Saturday. I paired the shave with my vintage Timex Automatic military watch. I've looked and haven't found another exactly like it. I appreciate it's simplicity compared to some of my others. Enjoy your Saturday everyone!

Oh Dear.....just ordered the red one.....but the green looks awfully nice!

But the problem with pairs is there are only 5 colors.

So if I buy another 'one' it'll have to be the red AND the gold!

 

Fuzzy'll take the odd color off of your hands...

Got another flawless shave from the Gibbs today, it mowed through a week's growth in a single pass. It doesn't feel aggressive but somehow it's incredibly efficient, it's almost like magic.
