Tonights shave was with an old 1/4 Hollow English Razor. I had a very silent, and smooth, 2 pass shave, that left me BDBS. The blade says Hollow Ground, but it is about as close to a Wedge Grind as there is. Excellent razor.

    Razor- Sterling Razor Works.
Brush- RazoRock 400. WD High Mountain Badger
    Soap- Arko, Stick.
    Aftershave- Pinaud Clubman

Once again the 1941 pre-invasion Russian shows why it’s the standard by which all my other razors are measured. Smooth like a butter knife but as sharp as anything else I own. Da comrades, is glorious!

An unexpected first this evening, I've found the Timor to be a great blade in my go-to razors, Mid Aggressive, while the Pils tends to be a bit milder and tame unforgiving blades, this combo produced some ATG nicking that I've not experienced with more aggressive razors, perhaps my technique was off due to a heavy hitting session at the range today, will try it out again and see if I can rule out needing to adjust the nut holding the handle.

    Razor: Colonial Razor The General
    Blade: Feather Pro Super
Brush Handle: B-400 The Brush by Tom
    Knot: APShaveCo Tuxedo
    Soap: Martin de Candre Agrumes
    Aftershave: Shave Ship Armada Blossom

Wonderful shave tonight! It all came together for a BBS shave. The MDC has a wonderful citrus scent with performance that's hard to beat. The mildness of the General mated to the Feather Super is a great combo. The Armada Blossom has a wonderful scent and my face feels nourished and refreshed. I'm off for a date night with my fiancee. Have a great evening folks!

Thanks Douglas... it’s a toss up between this and Platinum for me in the Fine line. Great products IMHO.

C8655278-2B48-4951-AF90-5518D15C45AC.jpeg Night out on the town with the Mrs, so I decided to reach for the Rockwell 6C. Always amazed at just how good it is but it rarely comes up in rotation. Plate 6 with a fresh Astra SS and it just carved its way quite efficiently through the beard. Today’s soap choice was RazoRock Gold which is a favourite of mine with subtle amber, leather and some spice. Wonderful three pass BBS shave.
