While you're in the kitchen, can you make us a pot of coffee, Clint?

Very interesting demo. Will have to keep this mind for future projects. I hope you are feeling better today.

Bruce, I agree! I am new to the Stirling products and they are top notch in my book.

This morning, I went back to an old routine of warming my Barbasol can under the tap as it was filling with hot water. Was a good help.

I wouldn't pick on @BaylorGator if I were you, Bruce. He get his Fancypants and hair net in a twist pretty quickly these days. :p

    March 3 SOTD:

    Razor: Parker SRX
    Blade: Shark
    Brush: PAA Starcraft
    Lather: Oleo New City
    Aftershave: Oleo New City

Today was my first shave a while with an open blade, and the first one with the SRX (thanks to @wristwatchb). I have another razor, the Classic Samurai, which is very similar in design but definitely not made as well. This razor has some nice heft to it. The Shark half blades came with the razor, so they got the call. Two passes and DFS, my a low grade DFS on my neck, but still a successful shave.

I also used this soap for the first time, which is my first Oleo soap. Is the the Canard base, so it has duck fat and is definitely slick. It also has a great post shave feel. I got a nice, glossy lather with relative ease then thinned it out a bit for the SRX. The scent has a lot of raspberry up front, but when lathered, the leather really comes through. There is maybe a hint of some florals, and overall this is a terrific scent. I have tried a few dupes of Tom Ford scents (this is based on Tuscan Leather), and I find I like them quite a bit. This is close to Haverford on my favorites list, even though it is quite a bit different in scent. The matching AS has a but more berry scent that takes a bit to dry down, but it is also great.

This was a great Sunday morning shave before heading to church. I hope everyone has a great and blessed day.

Danny, WCS emailed me about this and I almost pulled the trigger, but I am more into natural brushes. However, that brush looks classy! Let us know how it lathers your soaps.

@Hembree doesn't have a Parker SRX, either. Most everyone does, though. Let's start a list of things Danny needs. If he'd just trade the wife's Fiat for a Toyota, he could spend his weekends shopping instead of in the garage. :)
