  2. I guess I'm off the hook now. Right? Well, yes, if I have blond eyes and blue hair.
  3. Good memory, Jim, but I got it in Chicago. Wonderful scent. I chose New City from about 8 or 10 Oleo scents they had.
  4. Thank you, Jim!
  5. We all seem to have a blade like that- one that receives praise from most people, but just doesn’t work for us. For me that is the modern Chinese Schick branded injector blade.
  6. Apparently just an ok memory, Perry.

  7. For me it's the Voskhod. They really feel tuggy to me. It's been awhile since I used them so they're passed due for another go.

  8. Congrats, Perry, on the first shave with the Razorine! It looks the the PAL Adjustable got the day off. Have a great day, my friend!
  9. Very good recap, Jim. Nice razor.
  10. Looks like a spoon, Perry!
  11. Thank you, Jim! Honestly, it is a terrific scent. Mrs. Norcal left early this morning, but I suspect she would give it her approval as well.
  12. Good Sunday morning to all!
Thought I would post a few things before hitting the road.

Last few days been using the same setup. Nice slick soap, the silver MMOC seems to be more controlable than my brass one. Both shave well with a new Personna GEM blade, but silver seems smother. The little cheap brush worked fine and Stirling ASB was predictably plesant. With a light barbershop aroma to start each day off nice.

I have to add IMO that the play on words of the Razorock soap isn't a play on "the word". It is a play on the shape and size of the hockey puck looking container it comes in.

So today was a slow starting kinda morning. Using some of my favorite sents (bay rum) and a razor that came in the mail yesterday. I have my other Schick E2 out on loan and this one was priced right and seemed like it could be brought back to a good looking razor.
Using the B-20 blades I got a near perfect 2 pass shave. There 'was' a pimple that came about overnight on the back of my head that went unnoticed until the razor found it.
Having taken the blood thinners bout an hour before made it bleed more than if I shaved before the medication. Had to use the styptic pencile to stop it, no problem.

The Schick has some play in the blade holder but nothing that cant be fixed. All in all a great shave to start a long busy Sunday.

Oh Did I mention, uh Bay Rum:happy108:

Hope every one is doing fine.

    Enjoy

  13. Very interesting, Clint. Why would it only work on a modern handle and not on say a Rubberset 400? Resin handles too? Obviously not good for wood.
