    Seeing I have some time..
Talking about fixing cars, engines and the like.
Long time ago, when the earth was cooling..
I bought a engine stand to rebuild a few engines, a few 350's, some inline 6's a couple 4 cylinders. A freind wanted to use it to rebuild a 460 so I saw no harm. After all the parts, heads and the block were finished ready to assemble, one day we did just that. Having to put cover pans and other small parts on we stopped to finish the next day. In the morning we found the stand had bent overnight to where the front of the engine was resting on the ground. Had to jack it up and hold it with a tripod to finish the job.
    Who wooda thought.
    Bent that sucker good too.

That's nice, Randy. Is Mackenzie not smiling as much as the others because Daddy's taking the picture? (I mean..I do see a bit of a smile in her....and by the way I got delayed again in doing my edit).

    If memory serves me correct...
This engine was a 70's that we changed the heads on to run unleaded gas. Dome pistons for just a little more compression. A 4bbl holy and a new cam for low end torque. 5 speed and I think a .411 rear end with quiet dual pipes.
8 to 10 mpg, pulling a trailer or empty.
Those were the days, so to speak.

We put in an 85 3/4 ton that would run out of power going up a hill called "Mason City Hill" with over 11,000 pounds tied to it, it is a steep hill.
After the change, well over 13,000 went up and over, no problem, 2cd gear even.
Had a lot of fun with that one.

    That sounds right down cool!

We were always afraid of breaking something on it when running it up to speed. Never did break anything, we were careful.

Ok you got me. Or not....

Think about it. Ice cream is possibly the world's most important food group (it IS a food group, right?). Now, just imagine if Randy really didn't make ice cream, but said he does - then someone finds out. Can you even imagine the consequences for a scandal that big? There's no coming back from that.
I think we can both agree that Randy is intelligent. Do you really think for a second that he'd take that big of a risk? Nah....didn't think so. If Randy says he makes ice cream - then, by George, he makes ice cream. :)

While I appreciate the support, Bruce, you may have lost the argument with the whole “Randy is intelligent” thing. There is plenty of evidence here to prove otherwise.
