    March 4

Busy day today. (We see our kiddos this week on Friday instead of today.) We're assembling info to get our home ready to list with a realtor. We have tried (unsuccessfully so far) to sell it on our own. We still haven't ruled it out completely, but it's looking more like we'll need some professional help. We may also need a realtor. ;) The whole exercise of trying to sell it ourselves, however, is putting us in a better position when the time comes to list it with the pros.

A few packing boxes get filled each day. We are tentatively scheduled to close the week of April 22, so we have the time to pack (and visit Goodwill) at a reasonable rate between now and then. Realistically, that means we'll move in early May...sort of what I expected from the start... May in Kentucky is a great month to move from a weather perspective, so we're OK with that.

Oh yeah, I shaved with the Parker SRX for the 53rd time this morning. It was a good shave except for a very small boo boo on my left cheek - my angle was off when I began the stroke, and the blade edge just barely broke the skin. Bummer...

I hope you all had a fantastic day! Lots of great shaves and discussions, for sure.

I have a CT scan of my chest scheduled for Friday. This is a six-month follow-up to monitor a small area of concern that was discovered when I was hospitalized for blood clots in my lungs last fall. I would appreciate your prayers.

I finish up my six-month course of blood thinners next week. I am officially done with them at that point per my doctor...unless I have a recurrence. I feel better now than I have in a long time, and I'm thankful for that. I have made some (hopefully) permanent lifestyle changes (eat right, move more), and I'm now more tuned in to symptoms and warning signs... Next up this spring is the colonoscopy. :scared001:

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

You've done a great job with the lifestyle changes Charlie. Hopefully the CT shows everything is fine and dandy! Colonoscopy? Nothing too it. It's the day before that will make you wonder if it's all worth it.

Its one of the few blessings of living in South Africa, we have great soaps, cheap brut but only one or two shops which stock international de blades and razors.

Thank you, Neal. I appreciate it. I'm not looking forward to the colonoscopy prep, but it'll be over quickly.

Glad your doing fine, keep up on the life style changes for better health!
Don't sweat the colonoscopy, having many of them in my lifetime, they are no big deal.

Good luck with the home sale and move Charlie. It can be a stressful time but you’re approaching it with a good positive attitude.

Good luck with the scan on Friday. Congrats on the positive changes you’ve made for your health. I hope I’m as successful as you’ve been.

    Good morning! Everyone!

Got up early this morning just to use
the razor that didn't get a fair shake. To say the least, it was a wonderful shave.

Using the same utensils as yesterday, a great shave.
A two pass DFS with a new Feather blade (as always) and no issues. The person (s) that used this razor must have fallen in deep like with it. Looking very well used, it gives a perfect shave.
There is nothing more I can say.

This is one of those times you check the wonderful shave, all day long.
    Nice!
    Enjoy
Thank you Gary for the Inspiration.
I found another older Gillette last night in the draw. I'll get some shaving love from it the end of the week.
