It’s not much of an award if you have to give it to yourself, so I think the barbecue platter someone named after Bob wins out. In fact, my mom, who regularly goes to the same restaurant and always orders the same salad, joked with one of the servers that she eats it so much they should name it after her. The next time she came in, it was listed on the menu as Monica’s salad. Moment of greatness. If the restaurant owner had named it after himself... not so impressive.

I’m an M&P and Springfield guy for compact polymers. For non-carry purposes a 1911 is my go-to. I’m in the minority, but I despise glocks. Extremely unnatural grip angle and brick shaped handle lead to really poor ergonomics for me.

Tuesday afternoon March 5 -- repeat of Fat Monday

This shave repeated yesterday's, except I soaked the Fat overnight. The puck reabsorbed its missing water and swelled back up to fill most of the tub with water left shining on its surface...

The puck's glistening tumescence beckoned to me, inviting me to stroke its surface gently with my brush. I did, and was immediately rewarded as gobs of thick, creamy lather gushed forth. I massaged the pearly product onto my face with the brush. Then, firmly grasping the thick girth of my Fatboy's shaft, I gently glided its head over the slick skin until I finally achieved the end I so greatly hungered after ....

All in all, itwas a puck of a good time and those seven minutes or so were an almost ( dare I say it, Rick?) orgasmic experience....


So there you have it, Rick -- a shave report with the words "glistening tumescence" in it. Are your Spider Mod senses tingling? Wait! Is that a Ban Hammer I see coming towards me? [Grins, ducks, and runs for cover]...

 

Randy, since you are Mister Fancy Pants does your M&P have a pink grip? Just kidding. I am not a Glock fanboy....they are good guns, just not for me. Hard to beat the 1911, it is the Gillette Tech of the pistol world.

I agree with you. Except I also like Browning Hi-Powers and CZ-75s more than 1911s. Of course, up here, nobody except police and a few Very Special PoohBahs are allowed to carry or even have their pistols outside of a locked safe for anything except going to the range to target shoot, so my choices are somewhat of a moot point for any practical purposes...

 

I have two custom 1911s that have thousands of rounds through them. I gave up trying to carry them because of the maintenance required for a high volume shooter. I prefer the M&P full size and compact to the Glocks in general. My split times are about the same between the two brands. I have found that in general the Glock to be easier to work on and completely dissemble. However depending on the shooting class I am attending, the holster availability dictates that I take a Glock.

 

................ouch. That ain't good. In Alabama we can open carry but have to have a pemit for concealed. There is a bill in the works to do away with the concealed permit in Alabama. I hope it passes. 14 other states have done away with theirs.
