    Good discussion point Jim!
So do razors with lots of blade exposure give a more efficient shave?
That makes me think a mild razor can also be efficient. I've assumed aggressive = efficient until this discussion.
Again efficiency isn't aggressiveness, but they can both be a property of a razor.
Agreed - mild or aggressive can be efficient with proper technique.
Wheezing the juice is a whole different matter.

That brings me back to blade exposure and blade feel. Aggressives tend to let the steel hang out there.
With the caveat that milds can be efficient when proper technique is used?

I think that is true. I also think you hit a point of diminishing returns. For instance the F plate on a Karve is certainly more aggressive than the D plate. However efficiency of the F plate while more than the D plate didn’t perfectly align with the increase is aggressiveness.

That’s true Robert. An aggressive razor has a wider operating angle than a milder razor. The wider operating range allows it to be effective even when not used at the correct angle

Thank you Jason. The package is supposed to arrive tomorrow. I might use the 47 SS first.

I would say razors with lots of blade exposure would be efficient razors but not necessarily more efficient.

Thanks Clint, Joe, & Jason. In my younger days I might have enjoyed a couple adult beverages while watching the parade go by. Wrangling grandkids precludes that. Still fun to get out of the house, see all the weird people who are imbibing, and laugh at them! :eatdrink047::happy068:

Two choices when you get behind. Either slog through and read read read, or skip to the end and jump back in. There is no wrong way.

For years I watched my dad pick up lead tire balancing weights. He filled a galvanized 5 gallon bucket. Then he bought an aluminum mold and started casting his own 9mm slugs. When I reload, I do 50 for him, 50 for me. It's cheap range ammo when we police our brass.

even with all my tech focus and stuff i have done. it still takes 3 passes with pick ups with an early tech . and 2 passes with pick ups with a ss/rocket tto to get the same dfs shave on 2 days of growth.. same blade/software etc..any ideas?

Definitely some good comments here, Robert. I like the part about being neither aggressive nor mild at an optimal angle.
