Two choices when you get behind. Either slog through and read read read, or skip to the end and jump back[/QUOTE]

It depends on how far behind I am

Thank you, Jason! That little beehive is one of @Jayaruh's brushes. It's terrific.

My intent with my question was purely curiosity on my part, as I honestly have a hard time following some of the other discussions I have seen on aggressive vs non-agressive razors. To me, the 30DC thread is much better about keeping the discussion productive, which is not always true, even on other TSD threads. I am really not wanting to stir up trouble, just better understand what others think on the subject. I have definitely enjoyed reading all the comments and learned quite a bit, too.

Sometimes getting people to realize their true needs is the hardest part about selling.

    Great avatar, BTW.

No, not many. Wholly Kaw Project Leather is one. That one I will unload because I don't much like the scent. But I love the Grand Havana scent, and the burn is mild, so I'll keep it.

I agree on the scent of Project Leather. I'm hoping it grows on me.

A couple of years ago I got to meet Peyton Manning, who was a keynote speaker at a dairy show I am involved with. At the time he owned most of the Papa John’s pizza franchises in the Denver area. This was just after recreational marijuana has been legalized in that state, and he commented to a few of us that this had caused an unforeseen spike in their business. True story.

Thank you for saying this. I have always looked at a BBS as an unachievable goal of perfection. I know a lot of us throw out the term BBS as a relative measure of our results. Sure, I can get a super smooth shave and say there is really no noticeable stubble anywhere, and confirm that my face is crazy smooth. Some people are even nutty enough to rub cotton balls on their face in order to prove that they can’t catch any whiskers with them. Aside from this being either a really stupid activity or an indicator that you should see a psychologist, I still think that finding no evidence of facial hair whatsoever is an indicator that you are not looking hard enough.
In other news, the fact that I am ranting about this also indicates the need for psychological help.

I agree with Andrew here. Noble Otter is an excellent soap and should provide better results when dialed in. Too much water earlier on in the process often produces the results you are describing.

Great gear, and even better photo, Doug! Feel free to recycle photos all you want when they are that good!

Allow me to muddy the waters with one more term: effective. Most of the time, when I see the word efficient in this context, I think that effective would be more appropriate.

I believe efficient and effective are synonyms so they can be used interchangeably. I'm good with either.
