Lavender Thursday: Lovely early morning shave with one of my 'old reliable' razors—this restored 7/8" Wostenholm has always been a favorite; custom Jayaruh brush, and Route 66 'Lavender Woods' soap with a Fine 'Lavender Pour Homme' splash to finish. Have a blessed day, gents!

It actually has been around for a bit now from WSP. They just released a version of it in a cream also about a month ago. I have that one as well. Excellent performers both of them.

Awesome shave this morning. The razor is awesome to use. The Nivea 2 phase is something else and I love it.

I've never used these side by side but results were totally unsurprising. The Slim is more comfortable and handles much better than the short handle Gibbs. The Gibbs, with both razors set at mid aggressive, is noticeably more efficient, clearing back of my head stubble much easier than the Slim. Fresh PolSilver in each.[IMG]

Was this a head only shave for head and face shave?

Head and face. As usual the difference between the two in efficiency is more apparent on the more difficult to cut head stubble.

Oh ok, I just wanted to clarify the context of the comparison. Thank you for clarifying.

    Pre: Warm water splash

Whilst dancing to the beat of a different drummer (unlike me), I decided on a Tabac Thursday.
The DeHaven thought it was a great idea.
    Happy Shaving one and all.
