The rounded ends of the Proline-B make it impossible to secure them in the Micromatic but a trimmed AC Proline is fine. Very smooth.

I’ve been slowly working through my den to refresh those blades that have fallen out of favor. This one is a bit special as it is the straight I learned on. Wow, what a difference. Absolutely the best shave I have gotten from it. Smooth, smooth, smooth.

Back in 2013, Pyrate Cove was my first venture into Artisan market, primaraly due to the low price point ($3-4 with free shipping) and did not disappoint. A melt and pour which is very slick unlike other melt and pours on the market and heavy on the scents. I went with 3 Bay Rums; regular, BR with Lime and Bay Rum with Ginger with BR with Ginger being my favorite of the bunch and now down to less than five shaves at best with the regular Bay Rum.

 

Repeating with RegimentSoaps(Reveille)/Clubman Special reserve tomorrow(Saturday), with different brush:
brush-Stoylin Pro-Handle Synth(26 mm).
