Round 1, Match 2: Noble Otter - The Noir et Vanille vs Central Texas Soaps - Mr. Pepper.
Shave 1 OVERYIME: Noble Otter - The Noir et Vanille
The Setup:
Razor: Merkur 34C
Blade: Feather Stainless
Brush: Perfecto Pure Badger
Mug: Henry Cavendish
Post Shave: Witch Hazel and Cetaphil
I couldn't let Noble Otter go down with out giving them another shot. So here we are in overtime.
You can see in picture 2 that I spread a good portion of soap on the bottom of the mug. I made sure my brush was damp and not soaked before starting my lather process. I added water a few drops at the time and worked the soap well. Lathered my face and continued to add soap to the brush when I felt like it was getting dry. The lather still broke it down a little bit. However, today's lather was much better than the first attempt. The soap was very slick this time. Massive improvement there.
I wanted to diagnose the unstable lather, so at the end of my shave I added more water to my mug and tried to build more. I was able to get another round of good thick lather. I guess I'm not adding enough water to begin with? Any ideas, Vets?
WTG, XTG, and some touchup for a very DFS.
Let me say again that I really enjoy the scent of this soap!

@Primotenore and

Have a great Friday everybody!
