Thank you, Clint! So far, it has been pretty relaxing. My kids are playing nicely and we don't have any other plans. If it stays this way, it will be a great afternoon.
Just finished celebrating/hosting my Mom’s 80th birthday. House is clean. Lots of leftover food in the fridge. I am tired. That is all.
It is fun following your exploits with the Parker SRX, Jim. A one-pass SAS definitely works. The Cavendish scent description sounds good. Very cool B&W photo. I hope you had fun at the ball field followed by a lazy day.
Thank you, Clint. He seemed to be feeling better and then complained about 30 minutes ago that he wasn't feeling well. Pretty high fever, so more Motrin and now he's fallen asleep on the couch. He'll get through it!
Nice shave and photo, Jim! That scent has been on my radar as I really enjoy tobacco soaps and splashes. But, I must resist for the moment and keep thinning out my den first!
In my experience, Artist Club blades hold their edge longer than DE blades. I easily get three shaves from a Feather DE and seven from an AC blade. I could use blades for twice as many shaves, but I swap 'em out before they die. If you consider the difference in price to be important ( $0.21/DE blade vs. $0.50/AC blade), you might be inclined to use the AC blades for a few more shaves.
Made the mistake of answering the phone. At work 2 hours early with no shave. If you agree with taking an extended shift work the whole shift. That way Fuzzy does not miss his afternoon Colgate Cup soap and Schick G4 shave....just saying.
Thank you, Charlie! It is always a sign you are getting older when a few hours of work wears you out for the day.
