Great shave, Charlie! I love to get the Louisiana Chicken Pasta at the Cheesecake Factory, but it's certainly not on anyone's list of healthy foods! Sounds like a great day.
Thanks Perry. We enjoy going to the Cheesecake Factory. I almost always order the Renee's Special - soup, salad, chicken-almond salad sandwich, and bread. (I tried to be a good boy. I skipped the butter and about 75% of the bread I normally eat & ordered Balsamic Vinaigrette instead of Honey Mustard salad dressing.) My Bride ordered the signature meatloaf, broccoli, and mac 'n cheese. She was served enough food for three meals (no kidding), so we shared a huge take home box with her aunt. I've only had their cheesecake once when someone brought one to work. It was good, but if I'm gonna splurge, it's gonna be on ice cream. It took some adjustments, but I still plan to come in under my calorie budget for the day. I walked for 35 minutes, and I ascended/descended 11 flights of stairs. I guess that's they way it will be if I want to maintain my weight.
Thanks guys! Well, Jim, I suppose the SRX has been a daily driver for the past couple of months. I am starting to think about something different...possibly my Mongoose using Feather Super Pro AC blades.
The Kangaroo leather is much thinner than any other strop I own with the exception of my Mastro Livi. Despite being thin it is quite tough and it feels like it will stretch but it does not. It has a medium draw but the feeling is very different from other strops, the only strop that has a similar feeling is my Mastro Livi. It’s hard to describe. Both the Roo and ML strops seem to require fewer laps. I also prefe the edges off these two strops, but it could all be in my head. In the end it ilikely just in my head and it really just personal preference.
I know in motorcycle gear like gloves, jackets and pants that Kangaroo leather is much more abrasion resistant than regular leather.
