  1. Charlie, it doesn't get any better when you have a glorious shave and church service on the same day!

  5. Thanks, Joe. Me, I'd settle for the law being applicable to them.
  6. That's wonderful, Joe. I have a good friend who serves on the board of a similar organization in our area. My Bride and I attended a fundraiser last year, and it was touching to hear the life-changing stories from the families.

  9. Thanks Joe! We have a wonderful and loving church family where the truth of Scripture is taught and practiced. :)

  10. Thanks Charlie. These women need spiritual, emotional and financial help. I am glad that I can support it, albeit in a very small way.

  11. It took me over 5 hours to read over 500 posts. I am now caught up! However, I have over 300 alerts to peruse. Thanks guys for a relaxing evening. Don't worry, I did all my important stuff this morning and afternoon.

  12. I took a day off from work to investigate a couple of volunteer opportunities in Louisville before I retired. At one point, I drove through the city and couldn't help but notice all kinds of places where some kind of help would be needed. The problems and challenges our community faces, I'm sure, is no different than many other parts of the country. At that point, I had no fear of giving up my professional identity (this can be a big deal, especially for men, IMO) and facing the unknowns in retirement. In fact, I started looking forward to it. When people serve, I believe the Lord will honor that effort and use it to make a huge impact. OK, back to shaving, huh?

  13. Day 65.

Nice, leisurely Sunday shave this morning. The fougere parfaite was awesome. Slick, wet lather of the sort that can be just flicked off the blade instead of rinsed. (Gently flicked. Gently. ;)) And the scent is pretty much Brut, with more staying power. I need to get this one out more often.

  14. Very nice, Robert!
Both you and @Edison_Carter speak highly of that WK scent. Yet another soap added to the list

  18. WPB sunshine, warm temps, killer view, Mark Chesnutt on the hi-fi, and a $16 Ritz Carlton milkshake. You're all set.

I hope you and the family had a fantastic and restful day, Randy. :)

  19. Whew! I think y'all were posting faster than I was reading today. Good job 30DC!

Watch out for the brick Fuzzy tossed,
Think he's pulling them from that wall?

    Rhyming Couplet Verses, anyone?

Slants? Though I was warned away from them for being a gimmick, I enjoy my vintage German Lutz. Maybe Neal @NCoxSTL can work them into a monthly theme? SEptember SE's, SR's, & Slants?
The TSD AutoCensorMatic doesn't catch Foreign words. Throw some Cajun French at em, Fuzzy!
Terry, I'd like to hear how you did that. Fill the threaded hole, then tap it out for fresh threads? Use a metallic epoxy?
Huh, that helps to explain how my four kids happened. I should do more wood work before visiting Isle 12. ;)
We are the product of our forefathers. They were a contrary bunch. "How's about we drive on the Right side of the road?" "Instead of the Wrong side?"
Thank you Joe! I enjoy the lime scent and will most certainly repeat the performance.
Blair - don't be shy. Jump in anywhere! Quote a post from a day or 500 post ago. Bring up a topic for discussion/argument. Say something that the Custom Title Committee can use!
  20. Slants are a gimmick just like adjustables. But still fun to play with now and then.
