Thanks. Dovo 91 and Dovo 88's are exclusive to TSS and are the only razors sharing the Bergischer Löwe blanks. Loved it sooo much that I asked The Lovely Mrs Headroom to buy me one rescaled in cocobolo for Christmas. This one is the best shaver I have. As I learn to hone, it is my benchmark.
You want to buy stock in my company? Is that what you said? Super! I'll put you in for a special price! I have to admit, I'm not thinking the Zorrik will fully pass the shavette test. On the other hand, it isn't horrible on the first shave so.....maybe.
March Madness!! March 10 Razor - Schick Krona Blade - (2) Soap - Jeeves of Hudson Street Bay Rum Brush - Wolf Whiskers Custom Silvertip Post - Alum So, the ZAE blade is a Japanese blade. Can't really deny that. I can, however, say that it sure as heck isn't a Feather or Kai. Or even a cousin that I can tell. Last night it was a bit disappointing but tonight it's just showing it's not a world class blade. I know, I know, I'm using the Schick Krona. Mild, mild, mild. Did I say mild? No? It's mild. As mild as a puppy on valium mild. However, with a sharp blade particularly it shaves very well. With the ZAE I'm just not getting there. And it turned a bit rough on me on the second shave. Anyway, can't blame the Jeeves soap from the Wolf. Fantastic result as always on the lather there. But you can't deny that the gear is, as suggested earlier today, "meh". And I just don't have the energy to do "meh" that often. So.....before Charlie @wristwatchb jumps in again - I will definitely revisit this blade in a shavette as well. That's now the Zorrik SS and the ZAE that will get shaves in a shavette to see how they perform open blade. In fact, those shaves are lining up right after I break off of Mild March Madness tomorrow night to give the Wunderbar a spin. Can't wait any longer to try the slant. And breaking off from Mild to go Slant, then a few shavette shaves.......MADNESS if you ask me. I have an appointment to look over health insurance options in the morning then an internet installation with Spectrum Business in the afternoon. Hope you Monday is more exciting than both of those! Have a great one!
Anyone want to chip in for bail money. Just got my check stub and 3rd check in a row with errors on it. Fuzzy gonna pay a little visit to the office tomorrow.
Me too. First time I was nice..second time let them know I was annoyed...this time gonna treat them like shimmimg bloomers.
ones pay packet is the reward/compensation/thank you for job well done.it's disrespect to the employee if his cheque is late or shorted..good luck sir..
This is the point that I am at... BBS is definitely attainable, but the hassle (for me) just doesn't seem to be worth it. I can get excellent shaves with 2 passes and done! He CAN achieve BBS. He just chooses not to push it and risk regular irritation. Some of us just have skin that doesn't appreciate too many passes! Learnt everything he knows from your videos!
I'm on my way. Nothing infuriates me more than a company who can't pay their people right. I had an issue about a year and a half with a screwed up paycheck and it took them a week to fix it - then it was still wrong. I called my boss, told her my key as on the desk and where to put the job. Amazingly they had it fixed within an hour and I've never had another problem. I understand nobody and no company is perfect - but pay is serious business. And to have three in a row - I'll testify on your behalf Fuzzy. The payroll people fell off their chairs. Horrible accident. Now they owe you extra pay for the pain and suffering it caused your knuckles trying to pick them up over and over.
i have left many jobs due to pay shortfalls and unkept promises..you do your best, in my case repair clients cars properly and in a timely fashion, caring not to scratch or damage them ..the company gets paid for the good work done ..then screws the guy who did the work..not acceptable..
