Sunday evening March 10 Delta Echo refurbished Gillette Fatboy on 4 / Rapira Swedish Supersteel (5) Simpsons CH2 Chubby Synthetic Bristles brush MWF/Kent in beechwood tub Alum and Polar Ice Booster splash A quick shave with the Rule gear after I got off work and before heading out for supper. Two passes got rid of the weekend stubble. I noticed some tugging on the first pass, although the alum was silent afterwards. I binned the blade and will stick with "3 shaves and out" with the Rapiras for the rest of this Rule. Here's a recycled photo of the gear:

Been too long since I've used Soap Commander and Vision is a terrific scent. Bright, minty, clean. Nice way to start the work week and the time transition. Have a great day!
March 11 SOTD: Razor: PAA Starling V2 Blade: Gem Stainless Brush: Razorock Plissoft Lather: CO Bigelow Aftershave: Proraso Green Additional Care: Stirling Unscented PSB This was the best shave to date with the Starling. Two passes and DFS. Really, it was a near BBS. This razor definitely needs a light touch, but when handled right, it is more than capable. It is Monday, and my week is off.
