It has been a busy weekend and I have stayed away from the computer and cell phone so I am way behind with TSD right now. Y’all bear with me and I will get caught up.

Late reporting this shave from Saturday afternoon. The Maggard V2 does a great job and as usual the Stirling soap does a great job as well. I really like the scent of SDM and it is definitely a keeper. The WCS synthetic brush is an awesome brush and I would compare it to the RazoRock Noir Plissoft brush as far as performance goes.

Y'all take care and have a great day!

    Great photo and setup, Robert!
I just got some soaps recently, and the Fougere Parfaite was one of the samples that came with it. Tremendous stuff. As I was shaving, the scent became familiar. Then it struck me - Brut! I haven't splashed on Brut since maybe my late teens - early 20's at the latest. So, I looked the scent up to check. Yep - others compared it to Brut as well. Maybe my sense of smell and memory is better than I thought. Has anyone seen my car keys?
The soap & AS are definitely on my radar, and will probably be purchased sooner rather than later.

That may be true, however, there are ways to minimize irritation when shaving. You can cold water shave and their are preshaves and soaps that are formulated to prevent irritation, Proraso unscented is an example.
