  2. Congrats on your first round with the shavette - and for the fantastic report. I like the looks of that one, too. They’re a boatload of fun for a low price.
  3. Seems like Declan is happy for the snow day too! Thanks for sharing, Andrew.

  4. Congrats on the shiny new toy - and for a successful first shave with it.
  5. Love Celtic Woman! Saw them two years in a row in STL at the Fabulous Fox Theatre. Amazing show.
  6. Great shave, Robert!

  7. Barbershop scents range so widely that it seems almost any scent can be described that way. This RazoRock version has a fairly strong powder note. I can’t pick up any other distinct scents, but my sniffer’s vocabulary is akin to the 8-box of crayons. I can’t smell and detect in the 64-box way!

It’s supposed to be a copy of Floid Blue. I haven’t tried Floid so I can’t offer a comparison.

I’ll send you a sample if you’d like. Just let me know.
  8. Thanks, Bruce!
  9. Terrific picture, Andrew! He looks so happy.
  10. It's been a hectic couple of days for me. I got a phone call at 1:30 in the morning Monday night, Tuesday morning from the refinery. They had a significant unit upset, so it was all hands on deck. I got there around 2:00 AM that night and left at 5:00 AM this morning. So, I haven't shaved since Monday. I actually made the mistake of not showering before I left Monday night, and I was definitely regretting that by the time got home this morning. I fell into bed anyway, but that early afternoon shower felt great. I was still too tired to shave, so I will leave that tomorrow. I've been enjoying the afternoon with my wife and kids. I hope everyone has had a great day!
  11. The life of a refinery employee. Gotta love it.
    Glad you're home safe, Jim.

  12. Thank you, Jim. It does come with the job every now and then. I've had two experiences of more than 24 hour days at the refinery, and both have involved the same motor.
  13. Incredible photo with a great looking brush Jason.
  14. i remember micheal flatleys prison dance..
  15. Camo so I can sneak up on the beard and go for the jugular before he wakes up.....

Wait a minute, did I just say that? :shocked003:
  16. I had to look that one up and I though I was seeking the brush. The soap does sound good! So where did the brush come from??

I haven't done Floid products either so no basis for comparison. You're right about what falls under the barbershop label - lots of variation. Did you pick up the three pack with orange & lime? It's good enough I'd recommend to newbies. I'd swap you hunk of Lime Burst if you haven't tried it.
  17. Edison, thanks for the kind words, my friend, and congratulations on a fantastic first outing with the Focus R21 Evolution! Wonderful post and photos as well. It's a cool looking razor, and you are off and running with it! I fully agree with your comments about the TSD community! It's a place where learning, encouragement, fun, and friendships prevail.
