Where did you get your brush handle?

 

Antique store next to my wife's work. Went in to kill time figuring that they wouldn't have anything shaving related that I would want but had to kill time waiting for my wife to get off of work. Found the handle and that was all.

 

From another thread I have just been inspired to use the last of an Amazon gift card to buy a tube of Godrej shave cream. Made in India. So cheap as to be nearly free and gets pretty fair reviews. We'll see.

 

I found a very cool brass handled brush at my local antique store. It was heavy but it was really small. I almost bought it to have Rodd put a knot in but it just didn't feel right in my hand. They had some other brushes but the handles were in rough shape. I may try to hit the bigger city this weekend to look. I really have an itching to do this.

 

There is a shop in seattle that sells it for 3 dollars a tube.

 

1.25 on Amazon but of course there's s/h. Still came to under $6.

you may also want to lightly sand the knot to rough it up just a tad to help adhesion

just don't use them around the Deadly African Microscopic Termites...

Tried to give the stuff a way a couple weeks ago. Finally sold it in a lot. Didnt work well for me at all but i had the original scent. Nice scent but burned on the 3rd pass. Its in a better home now.

 

This is the Menthol Mist. I have no idea how it's going to be, but I had to finish off that gift cert anyway and what else are you going to get for under 6 bucks?!? I can always pawn it off on my son if it doesn't work. He takes anything that's free!

 

Stupid internet cut out again... and we don't even have bad weather. I don't get it.

 

This is very bad,... i got a sample in from up north...and Ii have no ideal what it is or who sent it.. grrrrrr getting old sucks eggs on my lawn.

Shep....enjoy the Godrej. It was fine but I have used better. I see Rolls got in time out over in the new at TSD thread heading to bed yall. See everyone in the morning....or at least in a few hours. never got around to taken the badger off my brush.....maybe tomorrow. nighty night!
