Thank you, Terry! We're taking the move slow and easy since we have the time. Most of the small items will get moved in the trunk or backseat of our car (move and unload a few boxes at a time, with sufficient time allocated for ice cream breaks -- union rules. ). I plan to rent a cargo trailer for a day to move garage and patio items. We'll leave the big/delicate stuff for the movers. We're fortunate to have a really good guy that has moved us before. He even tilts or flips the furniture as it is getting moved so we can dust it off.
Current house is withing walking distance to... Future house is within walking distance to: I don't know how this happened. It's a one-in-a-million chance, I'm sure.
Thank you Jim, looks like we will have decent weather for a while. Thanks Perry. Thanks Bruce. I always enjoy using the craftsman Thanks john
I'm just wondering how much extra you paid the realtor, and how many man hours they put in to make that happen.
March Madness!! March 13 Razor - RazoRock Wunderbar Slant Blade - (3) Soap - Oleo Soapworks El Caballero Brush - Vie-Long 12601 - The Pony Post - Alum Third shave with the Wunderbar and Wilkie. I'm pretty sure I could get at least six shaves out of this blade but, since I like to keep things at their best, I'll give it tonight for the third time and then move on. It's been a good two days with this combination and it's made buying the Wunderbar a good decision. With the El Caballero and the horse brush I got a fine lather that was nice and slick. I think the good lathers I've had over the last three shaves is one reason the Wunderbar has seemed so effortless. Three passes tonight just because I didn't want to stop. Baby in the house - no cuts - and the alum all three nights has been quiet to maybe a murmur tonight. I did give it some extra work tonight, trying a few tricks to see if I could cut down on passes with a combination of a slant and some good old fashioned technique. I'll keep trying whenever I use this razor and who knows - I might even start up a whole new theory/school of shaving. Crazier things have happened! Tomorrow I'm grabbing a shavette and giving the Zorrik a go. Let's see if the equalizing nature of a shavette will make that blade perform like every other one. Should be fun. Have a great Thursday!
I put a Green New Deal clause in all my real estate purchase contracts: property must be within reasonable walking distance of ice cream shop. Then I just sit back and let the process work.
BLACK CHERRY CHOCOLATE CHIP! I'd have moved too! Randy @BaylorGator ...... You gettin all the ice cream love going on here!
Over 500 post behind... nope!! Cliff notes please. Anyone get a Williams Wednesday shave? Tomorrow I will be trying out a beautiful H. Boker I picked up the other day. I think it will shave. Not sure if I will sell it or have it honed and keep it.
Haven't seen a Williams Wednesday shave but I may have missed one as the pages raced by. If we didn't get one - I'll give you one next Wednesday to make up for it. Deal?
Ok let's see. Semogue boar brush - got it. Aqua Velva Ice Blue - got it. Lather Catcher - got it. Williams - got it. Yep, I'm on it.
