    OK now...

60 days of growth and I think I'll try and keep it at this length. Tried some RazoRock XXX beard oil this morning and it's quite nice. I like the scent and the Italian Barber beard brush really helps distribute the oil to all the whiskers.

    Barbasol
    EJ DE87 razor
    Polsilver SI (12)
    Proraso Green splash
    RR XXX beard oil
    IB beard brush

D613393C-C39A-4D18-960E-865F755B65E6.jpeg I know that I had mentioned earlier that I would be going on a run of Aristocrats but the Merkur 34G was calling my name. What a beautiful razor and when loaded up with a Kai, a formidable shaving machine. Some believe the 34 to be mild and somewhat it is but with a sharp blade ala Kai, Polsilver, Nacet etc, it mows down the beard with zero irritation. Today’s soap was Cella followed up with the matching balm. A lovely three pass BBS shave was achieved , no muss and no fuss. Weekend is almost upon us. Take care and happy shaves.

    Another proudly South African shave!

    Neutrogena Men Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/new Minora
    Bundubeard Kudu’s Kick SS
    Prep ASB
    Alt Innsbruck AS Splash
    Aramis EdT

Smooth as silk and smelling great and let me say that this Kudu soap is a masterpiece creation from my dear friend Jaco Grobler in Pretoria, South Africa. There are three soaps in this Kick series which are all mentholated to different levels - the Klipspringer that I used yesterday that’s the mildest, this one, and the Kameelperd which freezes like the Glacials. The menthol effect from this one is at the same strength as the regular version of Stirling MITA. All three of these soaps have the same lovely exotic coffee scent and lather crazy-thick and rich with great blade glide. They’re glycerine based also and the skincare is excellent. The Prep cream felt so good when I massaged it on after my shave and the Alt Innsbruck added plenty of extra chilliness! BBA24D2C-31EB-4CF1-A7A6-FA35E5A049ED.jpeg

This is awesome a shaving forum where we feel comfortable to post the new beard we are sporting in the shave of the day section. I love it! Looks great!

    Be well.

Well I am still shaving every day......just less real estate being mowed. ;)

Actually looking forward to shaving it off. Just grew it as the wife and I will be visiting the Scottish Highlands early May and if I have any hope of putting the clan back together, I need to look the part of a Chieftain.

Haven't had a chance yet to post my 1st shavette shave.

Noxema, hot shower, hot water, Stirling unscented Sheep, Omega boar, Focus R21 in camouflage, Gillette Silver Blue, Stirling Deep Blue Sea (a scent I keep liking more & more).

The Focus R21 plastic doodad blade holder firmly secures the blade position and covers the corners nicely. Other materials are stainless and enamel steels. It has a nice weight.

Found a little more delicate touch than with straights was all that's needed.

    Nice comfortable results.

    Be well

I had a tightly cropped beard most of my life. As it greyed out, it didn't look nearly as good as yours. When I found wet shaving, off it came. The first time my children actually saw my face.

What a great shave! Love the Star/Spoiler combo, so smooth and comfortable. The VeraSoapCo SS is a top notch soap from a local maker. It's as good as anything out there, at least to me it is. So, my face is happy and y'all should go enjoy your day folks
