Gorgeous photo - and fab setup, Jason! The Red Tip looks outstanding all shined up. I agree with you about Mother's. One of the machinists at work turned me onto it awhile back.
What do you think of the Stirling Baker Street? I really enjoy the scent, however it doesn't seem to have much staying power. Do you find it to be the same?

I've seen nothing but rave reviews for both scent and performance. Luckily, from a short video clip that WCS put out interviewing Will, it's one that's here to stay - not just a limited edition.

What? Are you kidding, Bruce? Don't you recognize the @wchnu Williams uber lather when you see it?

Fuzzy doesn't need much lather.....his wiskers see the razor coming and run.

I'm in on that for all but the SE. Could do a FB on 9.
Well, all but the manly pink mug.

Oh? Haven't see that on the store shelves. It's available as a European import for $22. Reviews said it's not OS + something else. More medicinal & aquatic. Supposed to have good hang time of 8-10 hours.

If you missed it, Family Dollar will be closing 400 stores. Parent company Dollar Tree is consolidating and renaming some FD stores to the everything's a dollar DT name. If I hear any insider info from my daughter, the Freight Manager...

When I see that soap name, this runs through my head...

Thanks Bruce. This razor will be especially cool. My Dad was born in 1915, so I could envision my Granddad shaving with a razor like this one.

The only thing I can't reconcile is the price tag. $5 in 1911, adjusted for inflation, is $133 today. I'd be surprised if this razor originally sold for more than $1 or $2. I'm sure factory automation over the years reduced the price point of Gillette razors, but this would have been a crazy MSRP.

Hope you continue to feel better, Keith. That unobtanium Cobra beaut is a nice fallback for sure! What is the difference between 'regular' Colonia and the Essenza?
Good looking combo, Danny. I hope things get rectified at work soon.
Congrats on finishing off the soap, Perry!
I've never tracked how many uses on a soap. I think I'll do that next time I get a new tub. Come to think of it, there are a few newer ones I have that I can probably figure out a decent starting point on. :signs002:
We got the snow the past few days, but thankfully no wind to go with it, Jim. Are you enjoying the Beaudelaire in the new base?
Yes, I love the Palmolive as well, Jim! If I was ever to actually worry about frugality (I wouldn't take that bet), Palmolive and a Omega Pro would be where I would hang my hat for performance.
You have stuff blooming!!!!:shocked029:. Sigh. Wonderful pic, Clint.
    Spring, please come...
Same here. Today? 22F early this morning. High of 36F. Next week? Forecast is 60F.
Glad the blade worked out, John. What are they worth in the Family Dollar? Any cheaper than buying decent Russian Steel in bulk?
Love that Rubberset everytime you show it off, Joseph. I walk into Antique stores hoping against hope to fine one someday...well, ok, that and a Barbasol Floating Head...and a MonoBilt with the other handle...and a '34 Aristocrat...and a

Bruce- It has been about 4 1/2 hours since I shaved, and I'm still getting a whiff of it. Getting close to being done, though.
