The Gillette Cases do not have the patent engraving on the battom, while the ABC cases, still in production, do. 1916: 2-Rivet Case made by Gillette, not ABC 1917: ABC production came to a halt in 1917, when the factory burned down. 1920: 501 Rivetless & Two Hinge Cases. 1920-Mid 20’s Mid-1920's 501 Rivetless & Continuous Hinge Cases. 1920’s-1936+ They can be expensive, don't buy something that isn't what it is being presented to be.
