Many thanks, Charlie. Burley rocks. I sensed it still at 8pm.

I have read positive comments about the Gillette Guard being a good option for travel. I've seen them available from Maggards for reasonable $.

That's impressive you can still catch a smell of it that long after applying. It doesn't seem to hang very long on me, maybe an hour-ish. Not a deal breaker. I use it on days where a cologne might be used.

Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Personna
    Razor: Schick B1 repeater
    Brush: Omega 10049 boar
    Soap: Mitchell's Wool Fat
Post: Witch hazel, Fine American Blend aftershave

Fat Friday is here. Been a long week and this shave always helps remind me that there should be a little respite in the near future. Wonderful lather whipped up easily with the Omega 49. I squeezed out the remainder and applied to my face like balm while I cleaned up the razor. Terrific lather. A splash of old formula American Blend is always a great finish.

Hope you all have a great day!

I think I may use Soap Commander most of next week. It just flat out works and works well. Nice setup and photo, Neal!

Excellent setup and shave, Robert! Even though it was just your cleanup razor - love the handle on the G5!

Stirling Blu is a scent I'm interested in, but French house of ill-repute. Hmm......

    Great shave!

John, come back from the precipice! Hope your face recovers from the electric!

    Great shave, James!
