FWIW - Noble Otter Flying Hide is a well-worn leather scent. I have the soap, not the aftershave, but Wholly Kaw Cuero Oscuro is also a leather-type scent. It smells more like a brand new pair of boots. Between the two, I prefer the scent of NO Flying Hide.

Great shave today after a few days no shave.
I used the soap Jim pifed me for the first time, it is sterling's rose.
In the tub it has the rose lanolin smell of the "do not use" soap from the guest bathroom. After whipping up a good lather it lost most of the soapy lanolin smell and the "do not use" soap smell changed to just a nice rose scent. No adverse after affect from the soap will be a good addition to my soap collection.
Still continues my focus with the flare tip, still love this razor, 2 pass ibss just alum for the post shave. The alum was almost silent besides a small spot on my neck.

Decided to throw on a rubber glove; shower & shave anyway. :)
Besides, it gave me an opportunity to try out this new software I acquired this week.

What shall we talk about first, my cut or my shave? :signs002::signs002::signs002:
Let's get the gruesome out of the way...

Mos def needed a fresh bandage this morning.
SWMBO donned her medical garb and removed the old bandage.

I must be really adept at triage. I got the flap centered and according to the expert...not I,
    the skin looks like it'll re-attach. :happy093:
Now to the interesting part, my shave...:eatdrink013:
I had been noticing many shavers using sandalwood soaps and the
scuttlebutt which sandalwood is better, etc.
I have always had pucks of the original, tallow AoS sandalwood in my den. The scent is quite strong within
my tub of back-ups, which I store in my closet.
This vintage sandalwood cream smells exactly like the pucks, but cleaner, fresher.
There are no ingredients listed anywhere on the tub. I didn't receive the box from the seller,
but the tub was clearly unused.
I had quite a bit of water in my M&F Beehive when I started the face-lathering and the ensuing process
was wet 'n wild, to say the least.
Eschewed the straight and opted for the Ranger Tech. Smoothest DE in my depleted arsenal.
The Personna 74 wiped away all growth easily and without effort.
Finished with the ASG & ASB products. Exquisite in every way; moisturizing and scent.

I will post my initial thoughts on the soap after the shave this morning. I am moving a little slow.

It is the weekend, I will go into the office for 3-4 hours or so later this morning. Maya's spring break is over but she will be missing next week. She still has to be cleared by the doctors before returning to school. My wife is driving her up in Maya's car next Saturday and flying back to Atlanta.

Thanks Clint. It's right on a fulcrum, so I am anticipating a slower than usual healing time.

Hi everyone! There is no way I’m catching up on the over 200 pages I’ve missed this month, or the multiple hundreds I mess least month. I have been very busy with work and home. My work also blocked TSD on their network, so my productivity has been increased, but it’s way harder to catch up with this thread.

    I want to thank everyone for the Birthday wishes. @NCoxSTL, @BaylorGator, @Edison Carter, @jluc, @9nine9, @Norcalnewb, @brit, @wristwatchb, @clint64, @Primotenore, @Keithmax, @FaceScraper, and anyone else I missed.

For the record, I am not a sweater lover. I own exactly one. A movie character who had a significant impact on a young and impressionable me wore one of these sweaters, but I was too cheap to by one. My family all chipped in to get it for me.

My EDRIO continues, as does my NoBuy19. It’s a lot less fun to follow shave stuff when you can’t go buy any of it. I’ve killed one soap so far this year, and will work on updating the tracking sheet when I can. Here is my last shave.

Yesterday’s shave was with B&M’s new release of “Behold the Whatsis”. If fun had a smell, this would be it. The new base is outstanding as well. I may use it again today and post a pic, but I’m feeling lazy and still on my first cup of coffee right now.
