  1. He's not kidding. He shows up at my door every day with a look of anticipation that turns to near depression because it isn't time yet!

Even though I have entirely too many soaps, I couldn't help myself when I saw the Tweet from Cold River Soap announcing their new sheep milk shave and bath soap. The package arrived on Thursday and I just had to give the soap a try. The scent off the tub is hard to describe. I can say it is not the powdery barbershop scent but more like a nice masculine scent. That's about the best I can do. The soap was very easy to load and lather. Face lathering with the little RV Rover was a joy. I added water slowly and ended up with a very nice rich slick lather. I will say the soap has enough residual slickness to do touch ups with just rubbing a wet hand across the area. I anticipate the soap will work even better once I dial in the load and water. Three passes and touch ups ended with the baby in hand. I had planned to use Myrsol but this soap just cried out for some bay rum and a splash of Krampert's Bay Rum proved to be just the ticket. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.
  12. Wonderful photo and shave, Clint! I've seen that soap advertised and the $8.95 price is very tempting. Glad it worked well for you. I hope Maya is continuing to improve.
  13. Thanks Perry! I really like this scent! I have used it more than my Sandalwood and Bay Rum from Stirling. I like all of them, but Piacenza is off the charts!

  15. I've read where one of Vitamin C's benefits is that it helps heal wounds. Got OJ?????
  16. Thank you Perry. Maya slept through the night last night so she is getting better. I am hopeful she will continue to improve daily.
  17. Wonderful shave and setup, Clint!
  18. Perry, who is that in the new avatar-Mr. Milo? :)
  19. Shoot I forgot about that one. I pack it up with the Christmas stuff every year. I stand corrected . I own two sweaters. Thanks to the cartel for allowing me to maintain my dignity.
  20. Haha, no quite, Paul! That's Leonard Bernstein. He's a musician hero of mine.
