Survey Update: As we pass the halfway mark of March Madness, we find Soap Madness remains in front, by 11 over Cookie&Duffnut For Breakfast(safe lead, but not enough for an early winner projection). Rarely Used Gear is in a bit of a battle with Focus, as each is not that far behind Cookie&Duffnut. Mayhem and Rule are nose to nose for last place-do those fellas know there's a race happening?

Jim, your setup gives me a thirst for coffee. Lol! Seriously, CCS shaves are cool.

I'll be an "all-Clubman" man for part of this week(shave cream, aftershave, shampoo, and topping it off with the hair styling gel).

MISTER Fancypants would be a catchy name for the LE soap scent. Of course, it would have to include notes of cupcakes, white lily, jasmine, Acai berry, violet, gardenia, plumeria, and Scandinavian cloudberries. It would be great for guys with sensitive skin, those that chafe easily, and especially those having a general aversion to the more mainstream manly, barbershop, or classic Aisle 12 scents.

Joseph, I am behind on my reading so I just found out about your cut. I am going backwards so I haven't reached your post about that shave. I guess it was serious enough to use your DE. I believe straight razor users should have backup DE razors for these situations. Anyway, glad you had a great shave today!

Great shave, Joseph, but I'm sorry about your injury. FWIW, my worst shaving cuts have been to my fingers from improper blade handling. I hope you heal quickly, my friend. It's a good thing you have your Bride and Buck looking after you.

Y'know, on the subject of berries-I just bought a large bag of Organic Chia Seeds. (Yes, I know, this belongs in The Health Club, but the acai's and cloud's set me off).

    March 16th
    Razor: Blackland Sabre L2
    Blade: Gem PTFE (1)
    Brush: GB WarForge/Maggards SHD
    Pre-shave: Stirling Mentholated
    Soap: B&M Reserve Spice
    Thayers Rose witch hazel
    PAA Star Jelly unscented
    AS: B&M Reserve Spice

    Good morning!

Superb shave to start the day! Three passes with no need for touch up. The Sabre did bite. I nicked myself going atg under my nose, dead center between my nostrils. Not the first time with the Sabre. I get myself pretty regularly with the corner of the blade there. I was paying attention but apparently not enough.

First use of the WarForge/ Maggards badger. Very nice knot! Super soft tips and very dense. So dense it held more water than I was expecting and had to return to the puck for a bit more soap.

    Have a great weekend!
