    Prep: Cold water and Stirling mentholated pre-shave soap
    Blade: Kai Captain Mild
    Razor: RazoRock Black Hawk
    Brush: JR #41 badger
    Soap: Soap Commander Honor
    Post: Witch hazel, Soap Commander Honor aftershave

    Easy shave with this setup. Going to use Soap Commander this week until Fat Friday. Slick lather whisked away with ease by the Black Hawk. Just did one pass with a few touch-ups. I didn't sleep too well and was not too awake while shaving so I kept it minimal. Nice results regardless.

    Long day today with school, practice after school and then our band banquet tonight. Easily a 15 hour day. Here's to it!

    I had to get up this morning at 2:30am for a 5:15am flight so I shaved last night.

    Gillette Red Tip
    Sharp Star Blade
    A quick shower and splash of Ogallala Bay Rum this morning and off to the airport.

    March 18 SOTD:

    Razor: PAA Starling V2
    Blade: Gem Stainless
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft
    Lather: CO Bigelow
    Aftershave: Proraso Green
    Additional Care:
    Stirling Unscented PSB

    I changed the base plate on the Starling to the open comb this morning. This is the first time I have used a razor that has a straight bar and open comb option, so I can't compare to other razors, but I could notice a little difference. This is primarily due to a reduction in the amount of drag you can feel. This shave was smoother than previous shaves, and I did two passes for a DFS. As always, the Proraso was very terrific for my menthol Monday shave. I hope everyone has a great day!
