So the deal w/ this octo-Mom is she already had 6 kids and just gave birth to 8 more via invitro fertilization? Do I have this right? If so, how did she pay for and qualify to have that procedure done? The blurb I just read says she's 50k in debt and has no job. Meanwhile she's out shopping for a Wii on donated funds. Not to smert ya idgit.

Honestly, I was trying to eat at the time. It was not kind.

 

Wow, what an amazingly horrible Friday. :mad: We had FOUR fights at school today. The police were at the school all day, kids were getting slammed into walls, drug out in handcuffs - the chief came around to every classroom and warned the kids that anymore problems and they would go straight to jail... of course the sorry bastards started in on "I'm not scarred of them and they better get off me..." and other BS... and then after the police and principle rant, we had ANOTHER fight.

And I'm supposed to get kids to care about dead presidents and how to write research papers among all this?

 

There are some who would say she's brilliant. More than most of us here would like to admit...

 

Just been talking to the guys in the bull pen about this. Seems she somehow convinced a doc to do this for her. Apparently the state is now investigating him. Meanwhile her mother is disavowing the whole thing as ridiculous. Said her daughter has no business being a mom.

Hard as it is to believe, I smell some kind of elaborate welfare fraud scheme behind all this. She was hoping for more though. Supposedly she was in talks to do a reality show and a book deal. The internet is abuzz w/ her shopping spree though so the whole thing could come crashing down around her. Of course these poor babies suffer. That's the worst thing about it all.

 

Man I am so sorry to hear that. Once the kids get upset it is so difficult to teach and it sounds like the environment today just kept stirring things up.

 

And you're a bad teacher if you can't.

Too bad you cant shoot nerve gas at them or taser them. Hope they are 18 so it will be on their records. Dumbass kids of today need a good ass whoopin every now and then. Preferably not at school but who said they were smart?

 

You know that's just false kid bravado. Sorry you had a bad day, but I'll bet there's more than a few kids in there who are listening. Focus on them. :happy088. And now it's the weekend. Go home and have an adult beverage or six.

 

I mentioned earlier the local Walmart had Gem Blue Stars at about $4 for 10. I happened to be in another Walmart in the area (just 8 miles away) and they didn't have a single SE or DE blade. Only Quattro and Fusion cartridges. They also didn't have any VDH products either. Hope it is just that store.

But seriously, this is only the accumulation of 2 weeks of fights. We've had one at least every day for two weeks, and two days ago, one was an assault on a fellow teacher. He had to go down to the police station. Pretty much told me today that that was the final straw and he's not coming back. Real sad, because not only is he a good friend but a heck of a teacher.

But yeah, I teach for the handful of kids are trying to get something out of all this. but even for them, days (hell, weeks) like these will drain anyone.

On another note, I just had an AWESOME shave with, believe it or not, just some 3 dollar Col. Conk.
