March 21 SOTD: Razor: PAA Starling V2 Blade: Gem Stainless Brush: Razorock Plissoft Lather: Ogallala Bay Rum with Lime and Peppercorns Aftershave: Ogallala Bay Rum Additional Care: Stirling Unscented PSB A nice two pass shave for a DFS+. It was really a smooth shave. After 10 or so shaves with this razor, I do like it quite a bit. Honestly, though, what I would really like to see is a SS version of this razor. I think that would be a top performing SE razor, and I would pretty much have to get it (so on second thought, maybe I don't want to see it). I hope everyone has a great day!
Razor: Colonial Razor The General Stainless Blade: Feather Pro Super Brush Handle: B-400 The Brush by Tom Knot: APShaveCo Tuxedo Soap: Martin de Candre Original Post Care: Stirling Unscented Witch Hazel Alum Aftershave: Chatillon Lux Champs de Lavande Fragrance: Wet Shaving Products Lavenderwood I received a sample of WSP's Lavenderwood EDP so I decided to go full lavender for this shave and am I glad I did. This was the first shave with my newly acquired SS General and I couldn't be happier. I think I found my new daily driver. This razor has everything I love about the aluminum General and the one thing it was missing; weight. It has nice balance and feels great in the hand. Matched up with the Feather Pro my beard didn't stand a chance. My brush easily whipped up the MDC into a wonderful lather. There was zero feedback from the alum and the Chatillon Lux left my face feeling nourished and refreshed. To top it off the WSP Lavenderwood has a wonderful scent; lavender and cedar with a little patchouli and musk. It was a fantastic shave. Have a great day folks!
Stunning picture, Ben! Your enabling worked on me. I have some WSP Formula T soap samples en route. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
I've been focusing on Barrister and Mann soaps this month. I may just have to break focus and take them for a test drive. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
Jim, your Seiko JDM dive watch is a classic beauty and definitely my cup of tea. The orange dial on the blue NATO just looks cool. I've heard the orange dials help with underwater visibility. Seikos have tremendous lume as well. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks, Charlie. I'm a Bronco fan so the orange and blue works for game days too. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
