Up very early this morning after an exceptionally long day yesterday. Sadly there is really not an end in sight for at least the next month or so. Three passes and touch ups ended in a near perfect shave. My lower right neck aided the baby in his escape. I hope everyone has a great Thursday.

    Razor: Pre-War Four-Piece Canadian Tech
    Blade: 7 o'Clock Permasharp Stainless (1)
    Brush: Razorock Plissoft 22
    Soap: Stirling Naked And Smooth
    Post: Alum, Listerine, WH

    For today's shave, I went with a newly-acquired pre-War Canadian Tech with a two-piece handle.

I really didn't need another Tech, even a Canadian one, but I happened to catch it as a BIN at a really good price and was captivated by the two-piece handle, so I jumped on it. It appears to be in overall great shape with just a bit of brassing on the flare of the handle.

There's not a lot to say about the rest of the shave. The Indian Green is a sharp blade which seems to pair well with a Tech and there is nothing bad to say about a Stirling soap or a synthetic brush.

From L to R: Unbranded Soviet razor, Canadian pre-War Tech, English Flat-Bottom Tech, Frankenrazor (German handle, Gillette 1918 OT baseplate, cap with unknown provenance). The vest-pocket case for the German one is in the back.

I have an Karve Open Comb D plate on the way if it ever ships. I can honestly say the business was built on a quality product and not on quick shipping.

It will be worth the wait. Let me know how the OC shaves.....may have to end up getting some "teeth" for my Karve. I will try my C plate out next. The B was nice and we will see how the C does.

Thanks Perry...I really enjoyed the first drive and looking forward to the next. That little hunk of brass is smooth.

Charlie, that is great news I am sure you are relieved.

Terry I hope they can find an answer to your shoulder soon, it must be frustrating.
