Sounds like a top flight shave for sure, Ben. Feather pros are the only artist club blade I’ve used, but do certainly seem to work very well for me in an SE. Also filet’ed me quite professionally when I learned to use a CJB as well, fwiw...

I suspect it is just a matter of time until a Karve order gets placed. I was going to reward myself with one if I made it through my NB 18 unscathed....made it 8 months and I suspect that guilt from that is the main reason I don’t have one. As well, after starting with an EJ89, the only modern razor I’ve bought is a BlackHawk, and that is because vintage artist club safety razors don’t really exist. 30 razors in and out of the den, all vintages.

Thanks Jason. I appreciate the encouragement. I'm wearing you guys out with this "news," but I'm pumped about it. I welcome you all holding me accountable in the weeks and months ahead. Maintaining my weight has been a lifelong challenge for me.

We like to travel, and it seems that everything we want to see requires much walking and stairs. We can't wait for our next trip. and I think it will be so much more enjoyable. We're moving to an area that has plenty of nearby places to walk and ride our bikes. We're seriously trying to make this a healthy and enjoyable part of our lifestyle.

LOL! The colored o-rings took a bit of effort to find. The handle came with blue and I've since acquired black, green, red, white and purple. I haven't had any luck in finding yellow or orange in a size that will work. Never knew when I started wet shaving how man peripherals I was going to need.

To my nose Waves is almost identical to the Fine Platinum aftershave I have.

Thanks, Jason! I think they had this scent a while back, meaning a few years ago, and they brought it back recently as a limited edition. One of the sons of the owners developed the scent profile. It's a great scent and of course the performance is outstanding.
