I gave it a good stropping on the felt/fire hose/leather. I know it's only been used once before after the original hone, but I might also give it some laps on the Naniwa 12K. Wish I had that Shapton 16K, I have been "eyeballing". The C&S has been in the den for about 5 years. Still at about 50%. Hard as a rock and smelling great. Took some getting used to, as it is NOT your typical rose. The Semogue tore into the bloomed soap and made oodles of really nice lather. DFS and the skin is feeling refreshed. Excellent post shave from the C&S. Another "old-school" product is this 1970's YSL. I must say, when a scent is classy, it never goes out of style.
