My last Maggards order was shipped with USPS. Ordered Friday afternoon and delivered the following Monday. I hate seeing UPS or FedEx used as the shipper. Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk
PAA StarCraft Synthetic shaving brush. I really like the look of it, and I'm starting to favor synthetics.
I've always wanted the Durham Dorset and got a good example. Will give the Personna Pathology blades a go.
Actually, I prefer USPS, at least my packages are locked in a box. Unless they deliver them to the wrong address..
Interesting tagline: "This BLADE has WHAT IT TAKES for OUTDOOR BEARDS" (In at least four different fonts, no less.) So, what constitutes an "outdoor beard"? Do you need to shave it off before coming into the house? ("Don't even *think* about bringing that beard into this house!") Marketing departments had some really strange ideas back then.
So, Fightin' Irish and Studebaker owners. I wonder if any of this has anything to do with how the Durham Duplex became the world's leading flooring blade.
Either you have a He-Man beard that needs a Durham, or you're a milquetoast girlie man that shaves with something else. How can you argue with that logic?
This is the rare and highly sought after early Gillette know as a Double Ring? Not to be confused with Single Ring that only has one upper handle trim bit? A four piece consisting of the cap with threaded shaft, base plate, handle, and lower knob including serial number on the hidden threaded inner shaft? I've only seen photos so I'm learning as I go.
You can't, really. The first ad notes that the Durham-Enders Corporation is located in Mystic, CN. I guess that means that their razors should be suitable for whalers and other old men of the sea.
I spoiled myself a little since I received my State Income tax return . I bought a two band badger brush from Wildwest Brushworks, 200 Rapira Platinum Lux, A tub of Tiki Bar Soaps Surfs Up and a tub of RazoRock Acqua shaving soaps. I'm mostly excited about the brush. Derek is definitely a nice guy. Said he'd have the brush out on Monday. This had me thinking, I really enjoy supporting artisans. It's a small hobby we partake in, with an even smaller number of artisans. But there is definitely no shortage and I hope our ranks continue to grow, especially the artisans.
