    Day 80.

Menthol Monday! Limenthol is not quite glacial, but it is one of the colder soaps short of glacial that I've tried. Probably a bit more menthol than I need just now while I'm still figuring out open blades. But I love the feeling, and the pure lime scent.

Best shave in a while today:

    Ogallala Bay Rum
    Semogue 1305
    Fat Boy on 4
Personna Blue box (but says made in Israel, so red?)
    Indian Old Spice

Finally got great lather from my Ogallala, as mentioned in another thread. The Fat Boy has been treating me well, so I moved up to a 4 setting from 3 for the first time. No issues, easily DFS grade.

And the first time Old Spice has touched my face for at least 3 decades.

Maybe the Glacial Wintergreen isn't the best choice when you try something new? That much menthol does numb the face somewhat.

I love the Venture. Had a great experience with a sample a while back. Definitely on my to-order list.

What are your thoughts on the Thater boar, Clint? Anything you’d compare it to?

Cafe Bustelo is good stuff! Starbucks...bleh. Over roasted bitter to me. I guess it's why they have to turn it into 500+ calories of mess to sell it.

And @wchnu, spoken like a true South Louisiana coffee aficionado (I'm originally from BR). Community Coffee with Chicory anyone?

I know many teachers get into the business out of love for the job. Not sure if it's more difficult at lower grades covering the basics, or higher grades boring down into specifics. When the Ex & I were home schooling our four, State mandated testing gave the main path of curriculum. Any subject one of them was interested in got hard focus with associated subjects to maintain some balance. My idea was that if they enjoyed the coloring book, I'd get them a used text book for elementary, high school, and college level in that subject.
Got that website open and book marked!
How do your memories of the scent compare to the Indian version? Keep your shoppers eyes open near thrift and antique store. You can score vintage juice for not much more expensive than modern. It ages well if the bottle stayed plugged.
