Good morning everybody. Aside from a little 2 hour nap I pulled an all nighter.

Yes, I know it is a holiday, but many schools are in session today (especially with all the make up that has to be done due to cruddy winter).

 

Anybody else having problems on the site today? Very slow from here.

Fuzzy: OK, I have seen those chunky plastic handles before. I didn't realize they had any value to anybody on here. I had not seen a case though. Very few of the razors that I have found have had a case, those that have had cases, the cases were not worth having.

Personally on the lookout to get a G-bar, A micromatic open-comb, a micromatic bullet, and a heavy ornate handle for the gem (love the feel of it on the Ever-Ready). I have seen these pop up from time to time... just never when I had spending cash or from a eBay seller I chose to go through. There are still some DE I would love to have, but those are selling for way out of the price range I would pay for...

Had some problems about 40 minutes ago - couldn't even get onto the website - but it seems to be fine now.

 

I have a Dovo strop that I bought from someone as a "practice strop" The previous owner hacked the leather pretty good, but the canvas side is nice. If you want it, $10 shipped.

Actually the blue are 4 oz ones I use for my creams, the brown ones are what TSD soaps come in. They are actually 4 oz soaps in an 8 oz container so that there is room to lather.

Morning everyone. Got a stupid question. There is no mail service today correct? I have some stuff going out but wont rush if it tomorrow. Dad called at the ass crack of dawn wanting me to come over so that is where my afternoon will be spent.

 

I figured that out after I read the labels on the tubs. Kinda funny because I was thinking of doing the same for the soaps too. The place you got the containers is the cheapest I have seen by a long shot.
have you tried the pump dispensers they sell for balms and lotions?

Possibly. Coupled with the fact that I was very tired before the road trip and didn't get enough sleep after it. This morning was the first time in a long time I was falling asleep in the shower.

I do have some of the pumps for a couple of my home made aftershaves and purchased ones that had huge bottles, and a couple of the bottles with disc lid for splashes. They work great.

Worth noting that they don't list the shipping costs, they just charge you when they ship, but they charge actual shipping, plus $2 handling or something. With a small order that can seem expensive, so I usually stock up when I order.

you know, I knew I wasn't going to get mail, but it slipped my mind that mail wouldn't go out either. Bummer, I have 4 packages to go out in my car right now.

Does your post office have the APC (automated postal counter)or whatever it's called? You can at least dump them at the PO if they do.

 

Nope. It looks like it's going to be a home day. The girls have been gone this whole break, and want to play with their friends today before they have to go back to school tomorrow....

SWMBO wants to catch up on a few things, and I'm going to work on some of my straights that I want to clean up and get on the b/s/t...

 

They don't, but I can ship my CONUS packages from the grocery store. That will get some of them anyway.
