Had an early morning shave before work. All was good through the first pass, but I had a bad setdown right at the beginning of my second pass. This reminded me of the main reason I shave at night when there’s no rush whatsoever. The bleeding stopped pretty easily so I finished the pass and called it good, and headed to Palermo Kansas to bore under the rr tracks. When I arrived to work I found out that the company picked up a new ditch witch jt20b drill for our crew, which will make our job quite a bit easier. So today was still a great day.

Joseph, I had a similar plight of cutting myself (minor nicks, etc.) at about the same number of traditional SR shave as you. I think it was like 5 to 6 x in a row and it was quite frustrating because it usually would happen on my last pass. I guess it is part of the high and lows of SR shaving.

Thanks Joe....Looking forward to William's Wednesday. I will be breaking out a Gem jewel that came in today. It is minty. Will you be breaking out the Williams for Wednesday?

I took the Boker back to the 8K and finished with the 12K Naniwa. Let's see how tomorrow goes.

    NCoxSTL AAACK!

You had me thinking there. But, my eyes are returning to normal so the shine is fading a bit on the world. Thank heavens, actually. Of course the day I do this would be a bright and sunny day. Couldn't have it done when it's cloudy and raining.

Yes the physical was uneventful. I have my annual exam with the gastroenterologist next month which is my problem area.

    Good evening, guys!
Just completed my 60th traditional straight razor shave. Add my 46 shavette shaves that brings me to 106 straight shaves. Still using my 5/8 Wosty square point. Face lathered the Stirling Sandalwood with my Rocky synthetic. Two passes with touchups produced a BBS shave w/o blood or irritation. This was a nice evening shave right after my light dinner. Applied Stirling Sandalwood AS and was truly satisfied. Refreshing the razor on crox, yesterday, did the trick.
    Grade 97 = A+
    Have a great evening, gentlemen!
