Absolutely agree!!! Beautiful set and set up. I have a 1921 Silver Tuckaway set myself and though original, lots of hard work turned into quite the looker. Though I have several replated razors.

A little while ago I posted a photo of my D2 '58 TV Special and I realized this morning that I hadn't put it back in the box where it belongs. So I thought why not load up a fresh Bolzano and shave with it.

It's a very nice, smooth and comfortable Super Speed - as they all are. I might wish for a beefier handle and a little more weight but that's just me.

 

American Goodwill 175 today with a Bic blade. The shave is as good if not slightly better than the American Goodwill 160, major difference is in how it shaves, this is a lot less aggressive and more smooth but just as efficient as the 160. If I could only have one razor this one is a strong contender. The only Goodwill that might been an even better razor that is also based on the New design is a Canadian 175. I'll probably pull that one out next after the next shave on this with the Ladas blade.

 

New De Luxe / Spoiler - sure liked the Spoiler, compared to the Nacet I had been using in the New De Luxe, the Spoiler was much smoother & just as efficient.

 

Either the blade needs replacing(most likely) or I need to make better lather(probably).
