Hmmmm...tubes of GF Trumpers Coconut Oil cream on Amazon for $15 + $3 and change s/h. Good deal or not?

 

Well I just picked up 3 of the four Gems on my list in the same auction. Now I just need to snag a G-bar. However, I will see how those micromatics do fist.

 

I see the AD's have kicked back in Shep.

I don't know if that is good or not I have never looked into GFT stuff.

Good deal on the Auction.. the others will probably shave better for you then the Micro... but I do love my micromatics... lotta love there. I love seeing SEAD in full swing..

Well I don't know about SEAD being in full swing. But it is certainly insane that I purchased another 13 razors this weekend. Ugh. I haven't been that bad since October.

And I thought I was in trouble when I picked up an Ever-Ready that was an exact copy of an Ever-Ready I already had just because it was only $2.50 and right there at hand in the store.

 

<sings> breaking monkeys knee caps... woohoo!!


I need a heavy handle Ever Ready actually.. oh wait that is one of the ones on the way.. never mind.

I am quite happy with my heavy ornate handled one. I think I shall shave with it tomorrow.

BTW: I have been irritation free for weeks. I shaved with Mitchell's Woolfat this morning, and I got a little irritation going. Huh... I didn't think it was that slick. Guess that proves it.

Well GFT is the third T and the only one I haven't tried yet. Bong said he's been through a couple tubes of the stuff and liked it. The GFT line is quite expensive. Some of their soaps are in the $40 range which is waaaaaayyyyy too much cash for a shave soap. $18 for 75 grams of cream ain't that great either, but it's not out of the realm of possibility. Maybe I'll wait for my next Amazon gift cert and buy it then.

And yes, the monkey has reared its head this past week. So far I've resisted unless you count that Godrej stuff, but that's nearly free so I don't think we can count it. Well I paid for those 7'o blacks too, but that was necessity. Now I'm in the mood to pamper myself w/ something though.....

I tell ya, I used the QED sandalwood I got from Shawn, today. Wonderful stuff. I really liked the soap, had a spectacular shave. Used my 1912 travel handle Gem, Gem Stainless day 2 stropped (remember Cal, I said I didn't like them so much? corking and stropping works) ....

shoot, that reminds me, I need to go post in the SOTD thread...oops!

The GFT was the first cream I got, I tried the GFT one last time the other day to see if I should get a replacement tube, but decided against it I really liked the scent, but not crazy about the shave I got from it. I'm not really fond of their soaps either. The one thing I do have of theirs that I like is the Coconut oil cream, but some people don't like the scent of it. This one shaves very good and leaves my face feeling great, and I dig the smell of it. I can send you some if you want too.

 

Actually the coconut oil is the one I was looking at. A sample would be awesome. Thanks. PM sent.
