Page 345 Anti Shavette Fu post Fuzzy and I have a tentative meeting left unscheduled. My time is flexible, but traveling is limited. His time is booked with that work thing. One day we'll get together for a swap session that's been discussed. When I meet him, I'll let you know if either finds the other malodorous. We'll probably enjoy a cigar or pipe while we trade stuff. I refinish the kitchen floor in our home & let the Ex choose the style. Twelve inch black and white checker peel and stick tiles. Sounds fun until you realize every dust speck seeks out the opposite color tile to land on. Thank you Clint! Thanks Terry! There's a story behind it. I'm not sure how many Tom made. TSD Members were treated to watching as he conceived, designed, and built several. Then he did a World Wide Pass Around. I was new here and cheered him on as I'd never seen such a project happen. He was so kind as to offer one to me as a gift. It may have been a trade? Either way it's a rare beast, and I wouldn't trade it for a NOS Toggle.
It maybe the base as whole, but the donkey milk base is noticeably better than the previous tallow base, IMO. I don't know it is any slicker, but the post shave feel is significantly better.
Hee haw, Jimbo. Kidding aside, the base is very good, indeed. Never tried the older version. The REAL test would be to have two tubs of the exact same soap, one with and one without the donkey milk.
We've had JR'S since mid 90s. Current two are brother/sister. Truly awesome dogs, as many breeds are. Not many match their activity level though. It's tough to walk both ours at the same time.....they just hype each other up 500x. Over hyperactive Tasmanian Devils (like in the Warner Bros cartoons) seem like sloths in comparison. They said our little guy didn't just drift out of the anesthesia...instead he jumped up, as if to say, 'Hey, what's going on!?!' And....Proraso Red SC. It's awesome IMHO. $10 delivered via Amazon. It's definitely (so far out of about 12 brands I've tried) one of my top 5.
Hemingway Accoutrement/Granular update.... After some email correspondence and sending pictures. (These are they) The company is sending me a new tub of the Shave Creme, along with a prepaid label to return my tub. I thought that was very fair.
I was curious, so I located a video showing the fine gentlemen shaving with a Trac II razor. He also changed the cartridge and then gave some additional instructions regarding shaving with a disposable razor. It looks like he gets some mighty fine shaves even though he cannot see. He starts off by shaving ATG on his upper lip...something I won't attempt very often. He takes particular care in placing his razor away in the storage case. He always places it in the same position so that he does not cut his reading finger. I appreciated his sense of humor and his overall "can do" spirit. It was cool watching his video, and I'm sure it has helped many folks. I have much respect for this gent, and it's good to know that vision loss should not affect one's ability to get a great shave.
Small Dog Syndrome. We have a furry beastie here that growls and barks at every passing pit bull. He just doesn't understand. I know he's doing his Dog Job. Those others have been trained to eat his kind for a snack. If you employer requires you to shave, is it not a business expense? Ikea Grundtal series has a SS screwtop with clear heavy plastic slightly domed lids. Not really stackable, but the magnet on the bottom lets them hang from metallic ceilings or walls. You're two tense Paul. Have an adult beverage and relax!

I've been working in a multi-quote since this morning. Somehow it disappeared when I came back to reply. So all I have to offer is a kudos to you all for your excellent shave posts!
People who live in perpetual darkness are some of the toughest and bravest people I know. I found that their words and thoughts are incredibly insightful. Listen carefuly. Thanks Charlie! tp
Yeah....exactly. A walking vacuum cleaner he is. Part of what happened to him. He recycles everything....including cleaning up the back yard sometimes. The .1% of him where we just scratch our head.
