Yeah. Scuttles work. I microwave water to make it hot, but you'll have to experiment to find out how hot you want it. Certainly don't burn yourself when prepping the scuttle. The warm lather helps make the shave more comfortable and soothing for me. I got a great shave this morning. Some soap lathers will behave differently and some can get thicker when a little heat is gets into the lather building process.

 

MWF smells far better than the smelly Arko urinal cake on my face, because, I hate to smell like Peewee Herman if I keep using Arko.

A little late for the shave, but no worries. I recently acquired two Weber SS handles and wanted to try one (Weber Classic) out tonight with the British Gillette Flat Bottom New. Some of the best grip to be had on a handle TBH. I'm sure the Weber Bulldog will be the same. A nice comfortable shave and off to bed. Night!

My second DE Shave of 2019, and the Futur felt quite diminutive after using rather hefty AC/SE razors. There is no doubt my technique has improved a lot as todays Shave was really good. Despite having a strong beard I use a low setting on most adjustables as that seems to work for me, and I had a really smooth trouble free Shave which to my surprise resulted in a Face Stroking finish.

Maggard Limes & Bergamot today. 20 seconds to load the Maggard 2-Band Badger brush. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Gillette Platinum-Plus still in the Gillette Slim. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with Country Club Frozen Vetiver aftershave.

I am working tonight so had plenty of time for a leisurely shave.

Wonderful shave this morning. This was my first shave with anything from Noble Otter and I was impressed. Nice lather, great glide and cushion, wonderful post shave feel. I enjoyed the scent of the Barrbarr, the barbershop profile is there but it's different from others I have tried. The basil is very strong off the soap but it's not as prevalent in the aftershave. It was a great way to start the day. Have a great day folks!

 

I've been thinking about Pinaud Clubman lately. I think I will have some next week.

Newly arrived head for the 94r from Howie at SuperSafetyRazors and I'm good to go again. I enjoy the 94r and was very unhappy that I dropped and broke the original head. An email to Howie and he fixed me up with a new one at no cost to me. OUTSTANDING customer service I think!! So, a great shave was had and my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks.
