Prep was lacking and the results suffered a bit. Still a decent shave, but nothing spectacular. Enjoy your day.

Wonderful shave this morning. This was my first shave with anything from Noble Otter and I was impressed. Nice lather, great glide and cushion, wonderful post shave feel. I enjoyed the scent of the Barrbarr, the barbershop profile is there but it's different from others I have tried. The basil is very strong off the soap but it's not as prevalent in the aftershave. It was a great way to start the day. Have a great day folks!

Finally Friday and good morning all.
Got an ugly razor in the mail yesterday, just had to try it out.
By the looks of it, it's a monster, open comb, stamped head and base plate with no regard to looks when the handle went through QC, if there was any QC.
Loading a new feather blade and one unwrapped for back up, with great lather, off I went.
Oh my, this ugly little hunk of steel is as gental as a puppy dog. The first pass was so easy and calm I checked to see if I had the blade set correctly.
The second pass was just as soft, changed blades and did a third pass.
Now I'm not as smooth as I like, but this razor looks mean, like a real fighter, but no. If you like a real gental razor, here it is. I can't get a good shave out of this easy rider, my whiskers are just to tough. But if I wanted to remove days and days of growth without fear of pain or strife, this ugly razor is the one I'd reach for, for the first pass.

So off I go into the world, not a great shave, but it will do for a Friday.
    To all
    Enjoy

Ha. Made it! Evelyn wood style catch up is complete.
OK, I missed this in speed reading. What in the world happened?

I didn’t remember music being that cheesy in the 90s. Thankfully the shiny trucks made up for it.

I’d suggest you and @Paul Turner seek some professional advice before filing your returns.;)

Agreed. Although I didn’t know this place could be anonymous. Can I start over?

In other news, the cookie rebellion is really about resolving a dispute over real distribution of imaginary cookies and imaginary distribution of real ice cream. It could take some time to resolve. In the meantime, we all get to enjoy ice cream (if we can get it), and imaginary cookies (which are available in unlimited supply).

    Good morning!

    Fatboy Friday!

I know I said I was going to finish out the month with the Red Tip, but I also said I was going to use my S1 for the entire month. So much for promises.

I received a Fatboy in the mail yesterday and I couldn't resist. Tossed in an Astra SP, cranked her wide open and went to work. Incredible blade feel! Actually, kind of intimidating. Forced me to go slow and easy with attention to technique. Three passes with quick touch up for super smooth result. I did have a tiny weeper under my lip on the first pass that I didn't notice until the little red speck showed in the lather for pass two. Other than the spot under my lip I wouldn't have known it was an alum block I was rubbing on my face.
    Enough rambling.
    Have a great Friday!
