This is as close as I got to what it might be Jason. @Frijolero sent me this.... https://theshaveden.com/forums/threads/ideas-as-to-what-this-handle-is.54400/#post-1181551 tp
I run into one of those a while back at an antique store but I passed. If it shaves as good as Terry stated I may have to see it it is still there.
I just purchased an "E" solid bar plate from a member of TSD. I hope it doesn't have too much bite. Should be in by the end of next week. This will give me a B, C & E plates for the Karve.
Hey now Danny, I said it shaved mild not good. IF you like the mild razors or unlike me, can use a mild razor, you might like it a lot. and.... if you don't like it, not much money spent. tp
From a guy that's "smelling pretty" I think everyone needs a CT. There's only one way to find out if they are asleep or on vacation. @Queen of Blades Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

Day 84. Things were pretty crazy here yesterday, and I never got a chance to snap a photo. Today was less than calm, but not so crazy. Sapone di Paolo is another favorite that doesn't come around enough because I have too many soaps. I haven't even gotten around to trying his new Eleven formula. Maybe I'll pencil it in for 2025 or so... Today, three nice easy passes with the Ralf Aust, a little cleanup with the G5. Yesterday I managed a slight nick, on the side of my chin. I blame Joseph for jinxing me.
Wrapping up my March Tech focus, today I used a gold ball end NDC post war. A perfect result after three full days without a shave. Proraso Green soap and splash to round it out. I do believe at this point I can get the same results with any of the razors I own. The only razor I've tried (and purchased three different times) that I couldn't get along with was the mk1 Fatip Grande. Just recently PIF'ed the last one I owned and will most certainly never own another. Ever. Ever. I think for the month of April I'll skip the thirty day rule/focus and just choose whatever strikes my fancy. I've recently acquired a few more vintage Gillettes that need some face time.
March 29 Good evening guys! I couldn't wait for tomorrow to shave. At the beginning of the month, I had 4 vintage razors that would be my focus and would repeat tomorrow and Sunday with my Herder. However, I am ending my vintage square point razor month focus with a bang. I acquired another Wosty that is a 7/8 square, but it is my first near wedge. Brought out the Stirling Sapienza and face lathered using my Semogue OC badger. Shaving with this near wedge is different than a full or half hollow. The feedback is not as great and it feels like you are not shaving off the whiskers. Did 3 passes, no touchups, nicked inside my nostril and a weeper. I nicked my nostril because the angle of a near wedge is different and I misjudged it. No biggie! I did get a nice BBS shave. I like the fact that I didn't have to do a fool's pass to get the moustache area BBS. Finished with Pacienza AS. I am very satisfied with the near wedge. What a way to end the month with a new toy having a near wedge razor shave for the first time. Result Grade 95 = A Have a great evening fellas!
