    Floid Vigoroso A/S Lotion.

As a rare DE outing was so good yesterday, I just had to have another one to prove it was not a fluke, this time used the Progress.
I started back DE Shaving with an adjustable Futur and my other purchases New/ Vintage have all been adjustables. Though I have a strong beard I prefer to use Lower Settings, as they seem to work for me.
I found a good cutting angle by working off the head, it was shallower than that I might have used previously. The Shave was not only smooth and comfortable, but the Overall Finish quality was excellent . DEs now back in favour with me:)

    SOTD:
Today's shave was the first time I had used the malt n myrtle in about a month and it was a fantastic shave. Ive forgotten how much i love this soap, id highly recommend it to anyone in the UK or for anyone looking for a foreign soap to give a try .
The status is one of the aftershaves ive used the least, its missing the bit that regulates how much aftershave comes out, so usually what i do is press it against my hand and tip it upside down several times and then apply the aftershave.
    Razor: fatip piccolo
    Blade: feather hi-stainless (8)
Soap: the gentlemans groom room malt n myrtle
    Aftershave: status
    Brush: dischem synthetic.[IMG][IMG]

    Proraso Sandalwood
    Jayaruh #313
    Wilbert "Acme"
    CWR
    Pinaud Clubman

My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Proraso Sandalwood Shaving Soap face lathered well with Jayaruh #313 mixed 70/30 badger/boar brush. I did two passes with the Wilbert "Acme" straight and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Pinaud Clubman AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I must have lost track of this blade because it was a bit tuggy, but a DFS was attained anyway.

    Clean & Clear Facial Wash
    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Rapira day 3
    Alluvian Norwegian Spear SS
    Prep SS
    Bleu de Chanel EdT

I had a very good BBS shave but it came at a cost because I cut myself badly near my lower lip during my second pass. I’m to blame because for so many years I became overconfident with my Super Speed and my ability to shave fast with it so today it really bit me. Anyway, the Alluvian soap’s scent was so nice, the lather was so thick and meringue-like, and I felt a bit of a cooling sensation. As my luck would have it my styptic pencil was nowhere to be found so I had to put a gauze bandaid over the cut and that stopped the bleeding but I had a fairly unpleasant reaction because I broke out in a terrible cold sweat and I became very nauseous. Thank heavens I feel much better now.

Yaqi 'Charcoal' with a Treet Durasharp Carbon Steel Blade
    Alum and Rinse
    Simple Facial Toner
    Dove Moisturiser
    Epsilon Blue AS

After a pretty awful night shift I needed a wake up call to get me up and running today. Enter the Ingram cream which will become a rarer sight in 'the wild' as it appears to have been discontinued. To increase the effect I also decided to have a cold water shave. This is not something I would do normally . The mind set for me is that a shave should involve lots of hot steaming water and throwing lots of cold water round me is paying penance for some terrible unforgivable sin.

Despite my misgivings.......the shave was actually very good.
3 passes for an excellent face feeling finish. It will however take a little time before I consider this to be 'normal' behaviour!

    Brush : jayaruh no99
Soap : old spice shave stick
    Post : Medicated witch hazel
    A/S : vintage old spice
    Cologne : vintage old spice

The shave was awesome. This razor is such a great shaver. It left me nice and smooth without issue. I only wish that there was a way to replace the handle. The soap and the rest of my setup is simply fantastic. I was going to use an AOS cream but ran out of time and just went with shave stick.

    Razor : ikon standard
    Blade : silver star
    Brush : Simpson case
    Soap: vintage shave stick

I brought several ikon heads with me on vacation and the standard was first up.
An incredible shave this morning before heading out. This setup worked great and the a/s is awesome. I’m really enjoying this little brush
