That sound like a great weekend! I had a pump go out once, just opened the back and let it drain to the outside during the cycle until I got a new one. Yes, a real pita Paul! take care tp
I enjoyed reading your posts this month Charlie. As added bonus we’ve been able to follow the progress on the new home. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Famous last words. I’m done with razors unless I click on the Wolfman site and see the WR2 available. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Turner males, with our mighty chins, will say "Come at us with your swords....yer gonna wish you were never born!!" Irene!!!
They treat us pretty good Rick, we each have our own room. We generally try to find a hotel that has breakfast and dinner since fast food gets old really fast, but it has to be 30 minutes or less away if possible. Most of the guys I work with are surprised that I shave with a straight. I have only succeeded in getting one interested in them but he has yet to try one out, even though I let him know I would give him everything he needed to give it a try. For the most part they are all like the way I used to be, just trimming the beard with clippers and shaving only when required.
March Focus Noble Otter Lonestar~~Morris & Forndran Polo 2~~dubl duck Goldegde~~Cigar Aficionado SR #53 Back at home after teaching at Ball Sate University Friday and Saturday. I am finishing up the semester for a dear colleague, who is being treated for rectal cancer. So for the next 4 weeks, I am out of town on those days. That means travel razor (Weishi). However today, I jumped back in with straight razor shave number 53. I acquired two tubs of Noble Otter shave soap in a trade for a 10.1oz bottle of Tabac EdC. What a revelation! This soap is truly outstanding. I have seen it often posted, but never was that interested, so when the opportunity presented itself, I took advantage of it and I am extremely pleased with the product. Lonestar is an unusual fragrance. Lemon, Sage, Magnolia, Texas Cedar, Oakmoss, Leather, Hay This is not a scent that will appeal to most right from the tub. The sage is dominant and so is the hay. Hay? How do you get the smell of hay in a soap? The soap base is high-quality and even though coconut oil is one of the ingredients, there is absolutely no dryness post-shave. I am mos def going to be adding Noble Otter products to my den. I could have a shave brush stable of just Morris & Forndran (Pre-Sears) shave brushes. They are better than my Simpsons, *Rooney's and Paladins. *disclaimer, I have never owned a Rooney "Finest". Someday. Today was no exception. The Polo 2 (Finest) is an amazing and luxurious brush. Pillow-soft Now, I am quite sure you are all waiting with baited-breath for Primo to report whether or not he still has a chin The answer is....mos def! I decided to forego completely the ATG pass, with the exception of my neck, because I am comfortably able to make this pass form the bottom of my neck to my jaw line. WTG and XTG on the chin and...basta. I am calling it a day. Results: minuscule weeper, not even on my chin. The Cigar Aficionado AS, which is one of the few scents in my den, receiving the coveted SWMBOSOA completely obliterated the Noble Otter scent. Went to the website and, of course, the matching aftershave is sold out. I will be on the lookout for it to return.
Do you ever have those posts you wish you hadn't read? I had been avoiding Noble Otter, but now I may have to make the addition. Terrific post and shave, Joseph!
March 31 SOTD: Razor: Parker SRX Blade: Shark Brush: PAA Starcraft Lather: PAA AGHARTA Aftershave: PAA AGHARTA Additional Care: Stirling Unscented PSB After skipping yesterday, I was primed for a great shave. As I had some time, a cup of coffee with the shave was in order. I don't normally do this on work days, but there is something about sipping some coffee in between passes that just makes a shave enjoyable. I did two passes for a BBS this morning, and my skin feels great. A terrific scent to go along with it, and all is well. I have really enjoyed usingthe SRX this month, and my straight technique came back to me a bit. I also realized that I didn't change blades the entire month in either razor. I didn't do it purposefully, but it just worked out that way. I have greatly enjoyed the fun and comraderie this month. I hope everyone has a great day!
