According to WCS, the Crystal is ranked alongside the Derby and below the Red IP? If so, I must have an absolutely *amazing* Crystal loaded up right now.

 

that is not too bad if you get to make a few hunts.. When I am rich i wanna get in on some of that...

I'm a caffeine person. I drink tea or coffee, depending on my mood. I love earl grey.

What does WCS stand for again? Razor blade rankings are so subjective. I get great results from the entire Personna line and I especially love Crystals. I'd put Crystal way above Derby- and I say this as a guy who bought 100 Derby blades a while back, only to switch razors and find they weren't compatable with my face anymore. Crystals have always worked for me, no matter what razor I use.

I do both. . I haven't tried any loose leaf teas. However, there are days where I do only coffee. There are days where I do both. I suppose if I am going to go all out and grind beans and french press my coffee I could take as much care on my tea. But first things first. I am sure I will get there once I get everything else in order.

 

Mostly coffee guys here... but I do like some Earl Grey tea also.

I will drink either, but I require high doses of caffeine to get started in the morning. Anyone know of a good highly caffeinated tea?

 

You could always do like we did in College (don't try this Jen.. it isn't worth it). Make your tea/coffee with either Water Joe... or old tea/coffee.

Rolls, tried the Noxema out this morning. Pretty good stuff. Not gonna say great, etc until I try it 3-4 more times.

 

Not good, but I think yerba mate has more caffeine than most teas, but to me it smells and tastes like dried grass/weeds

 

Give it a couple shaves with a couple different blades too. Remember that some creams will give different results depending on the type of steel/coatings of the blades you use.


Hey, any of you guys use them ShaveMac brushes? There is one on ebay right now. I am not 100% sure if it is a good deal, but it seems like it is.......

Yup, definately going to use it for a few more days and then give my opinion on it. Very slick stuff. I did notice it takes a little more than what I am used to using with other creams. I barely had enough to do 3 passes this morning. I think tomorrow I will bowl lather it instead of face lathering.

I have a shavemac but don't know much about the different models. Mine is about to get shipped back to Bern because it sheds like no other.

 

Tracy, see if paul will send you a pack of the purple wrapped nacent blades. I have been using one the last couple days with good results

 

Tracy, I use a GTP scuttle to start my lather. Try this...... bowl lather with very hot water. Get the brush lathered up to where the lather itself looks good. Then add another teaspoon of HOT water, and give it a few more swirls. That should do the trick..............
