I really had to. After all, when the Speedwell set out for the New World with the Pilgrims, they made sure sufficient inventory was available.

When she began to take on water early in the voyage, the Pilgrims offloaded what supplies they could (AFTER the Williams) to the safety of the Mayflower. Thank goodness they understood the necessity to keep this stuff dry!

At least that is how the story was transcribed on some of the stuff I thought I saw for sale on eBay.

    Day 86.

My, how time flies. Only two weeks away from 100?
Brought out the Russian Gravjura again. And again, it feels noticibly smoother than the Germans. I get used to what I'm using while I use it. But when I switch, the difference is unmistakable.
Awesome lather with one of my favorite scents. I like it enough to put up with the slight burn I get from it. Doesn't last, so it's not that much of a problem. And another minor oops drops a near perfect shave to merely a really, really good shave. I'll take it.

And Indiana decided that this particular March will not go out like a lamb. It snowed last night. Vaya! Don't care. The grill is coming out anyway.

A gentleman here, whose name, @wristwatchb, shall remain nameless, likes to get after me to buy the Flying Hide from Noble Otter. Kinda like the way Chris Bailey talks about Fine products....("Fine Vetiver....get it"). Course I now have items from 2 Texas companies. As to your question, I'm sure they find a special way to mix up that hay fragrance to make it part of the soap. I'd have to sniff a sample to see what it's about.

That's it...High Jump 47. I knew there was a "47", but forgot if it was just that or "1947". I'm sure the story is a great one, but it must go on for an hour or so, right?

    Thanks, guys.

We have carne asada, chimól, corn tortillas. And naturally, plenty of frijoles. :happy088: Of course, as the song says, the latter don't go on the grill.

The house is full of inlaws today.

Terry, nice shave! I can't use mild shavers because my beard is too coarse. It is the reason why I use adjustables and straights.

I have one like that with the case, a gift from a coworker who found it at a flea market. I haven't used it in a bit but do like it.

I had a second one without a case but put it in a pass-around over on another forum. The shave reports have been a bit mixed as most don't seem to like the mildness. To each their own.

Oh wow Joe, I'm there. Sholder is not good for straights, but I'm getting tired of waiting. The ones that shave me well are the MMOC, Schick E seires, and a few OC DE's. I'm still new enough WS to try anything.
