    You mean the can goo??

If I gotta pick on... Musgo Real... or Tabac.... or Rose of Bulgaria. They work great and are easy to get great lather from. Rose is a favorite scent of mine.

Bulgaria makes terrific shaving creams: kapo, Viking, Top ten, Kyna, Ikar, Supermax, Rose of Bulgaria, Lavender and tons more.!!!

The one on the left. ;) Be careful...you could lose a tube of Preparation H in that drawer. :happy097:

I'm a fan of Taylor of Old Bond Street creams. They offer a nice variety of scents, performance is top notch, and the cost is reasonable. Another good one is C.O. Bigelow. I can pick up a large tube locally from Bath and Body works for about $5 with sales and discounts.

I love Tabac soap. Will have to give the cream a try.

What is the tobacco like in Tabac...sweet/vanilla(pipe), or harsh/cigarette?

    The scent is intoxicating.

That being said, I could probably list several great creams that I have which is probably why I have a closet full.

Paul, the scent is described by the manufacturer as "a blend of lavender, citrus, and warm florals." It gets mixed reviews, but I enjoy the scent. There's no harsh/cigarette smell at all. I know you like to match products with seasons. I think you'd prefer Tabac in fall or winter. The soap is absolutely top notch as well.

Oh, I wasn't saying there WAS "Harsh/cigarette"....it was more an either/or question. You're right, I'd go for it in the fall/winter.

    Must Go Real, eh? :))))

The only cream I have tried besides the can is Pacific shaving, it is ok but the lather doesn't last as long as I would like. I will be getting more next time I order stuff offline. Down here in the Fl Keys I have a hard time finding anything that is not a can of foaming goo.

Too many top notch creams to pick a favorite based on performance. So for me it's about scent. Castle Forbes 1445 is probably my number one. Musgo Real classic scent isa contender too.

Of course, I haven't gotten around to trying most of the 30ish creams that I own.
